Trading worked in Borderlands when playing multiplayer with friends or random gamers so why not Destiny? I'm a Warlock and my bro is a Hunter so when I get Hunter gear I have to dismantle it since I can't give/trade it with him or send it his way through vaults and vice versa when he gets Warlock gear. Anyone else agree with this? Spread the word, it'd be awemazing to see this happen, am I right?

1 ReplyDid all the Borderlands games have trading in them? I never played them, but I keep meaning to get back to it...

It wouldn't work because destiny's economy is highly regulated by NPC's. Everything you use to buy items is essentially destroyed, and the kiosks mean exotics, sparrows, ships, emblems etc. could be exploited.

It wouldn't be a good idea to have trading for weapons and armour. But being able to trade little things like ammo synths, telemtrys etc might not be so bad. I have a spark of light I can't dismantle and have no intention of using. I'd love to be able to give it away or trade for a few heavy ammo synths or something.

1 ReplyIt will never happen. Bungie asked Blizzeard for tips before they released Destiny. Blizzard told them not to put trading into the game. Diablo 3 used to have an auction house, but they shut it down because of the high prices on things. If you go to eBay, look at some of the stuff people are selling for Diablo 3. It almost ruined the game.

In theory this would be a good thing. In the real world. www.buyayear3thorn.com $300.00 Trading will never happen

This has been discussed an unprecedented amount of times and every time Bungie answers 'No'.
