Queenbreaker's Bow is severely underrated.
- Max AA
- Ammo inventory: One special box, while running two FR armor gives you 16 shots. FR armor + general special ammo perk gives you 18.
- Very low time to ADS with any perk.
- While being more limited in range compared to snipers, it still hits far reliably.
- Blinting is made super easy. (Body plus primary.)
- Charge time is short.
- Fast handling even with Send It (which is what you should be running, at least on large maps.)
- The Hip Fire is surprisingly accurate and helpful.
- It looks noice. This is a fact. Shush.
- Use the Combat sights. You'll be handicapped greatly otherwise.
I've personally had a lot of success with the QBB, but the charge rate mechanic is a deal breaker for a lot of people. Just know that you'll eventually get used to it. Or not. And that's fine. But [u]please don't shitpost here just because it didn't work out for you.[/u] <3

Edit: You have no basic gun skill if you're one of the people who've replied saying that the QBB is not viable or competitive. Don't act like you know what you're talking about when you're barely even positive. Everyone I've had try it out immediately realizes why I say it's supposedly OP. It requires very little, actual gun skill to hit your shots.
On paper, yes, if the best sniper were pitted against the best QBB user, the QBB would lose. But you're likely not going to have to deal with those players on a daily basis. If you find that you're getting outsniped consistently, that's honestly on you. Better positioning and taking advantage of the QBB's strengths will help you win your gun fights, as with everything.
(I've done a massive amount of editing to make this post more informative than cocky.)

2 RepliesYou seem to be experienced with it. I tried it a few days ago and didnt do too well because i struggled using the combat sights a bit. Where abouts in the dots should i aim? Should i line up the middle of them or is it somewhere else? Id assume it was the middle but sometimes i line up the middle but miss so any tips on using it effectively?

So unfortunately I've never been out sniped by one of lost to a team in trials with one so I'm not too worried buddy and by your definition the only positive thing for this gun is the ammo which in a 3v3 competitive game mode with less people taking boxes and not hardscoping a lane I'd say this gun is utter shit

2 Repliesit's incredibly easy to get a body shot with qbb, more so than a sniper in my opinion. For me headshots are easier with my longbow or 1k yard stare. Both have ups and downs but I see why you like it.

I wish you could simply toggle between the scopes. It just looks like it should have that.

You also kick ass in crucible with any gun I would imagine, at least your k/d is top tier....if I were to use it if probably miss left then get slide shot gunned in the nads while trying to shoot it again

Same it's a diamond in the ruff for me. I love fusions and I always felt dirty after using it. It doesn't quite aim for you but I have put out some crazy shots. It would be great in pve to if it didn't follow the fusion crit multiplier instead of the sniper crit multiplier. (Seriously bungie you have it sniper glint but not the sniper crit multiplier?)

i've used it a while and noticed that the detection for the "bullet" is insane as a load of my misses counted as headshots... i mean i really did miss those shots, and i'm not talking by a little either i'm talking full on body going for a head instead. i should use it more it's a great fun gun

I have one, but haven't really gotten around to becoming expert with it. I got a lot of weapons at the same time, and it just got lost in the shuffle. Kind of like the Weyloran's march sniper I'm working with now... I normally suck at sniping, but I may actually be able to make this one work.
