Crucible needs a Primary only mode
Personally, I have the most fun in crucible when it's one-on-one primary battles. No heavy ammo, no special weapons, no supers, just straight up gun skill. Anybody else into that idea?

Then again the "lag" and current state of match making make any semblance of fairness go out the window.. It would be better though. I personally think the current state of the game is probably more fun with all the unpredictability and all. However, due to so many being so concerned with their utterly meaningless "K/D" the fun part could be better. If PVP is going to remain extremely imbalanced they ought to remove "K/D" from profiles and only display "K/D" at the end of matches for those who need the self-esteem boost or whatever...

3 RepliesHeck I wouldn't even mind if they just threw in random stupid playlists. Chaotic as f*ck. Call it the "ClustetF*ck" playlist Heavy only (no ammo for primary or secondary. No abilities. No supers.) Just LMG. Swords and RL. You have infinite ammo. Primary only, same rules as above. Secondary only. Grenades only, basically, turn on catapult.. Supers only. Your super bar insta refills after you cast it. Y'all did crazy shit like this in Halo, why no destiny??

7 RepliesAll the Y2 players acting like Y1 was this amazing landscape of primary diversity, balance, and limited special usage. Then totally forget the only weapons really used were suros, vex, hawk moon, TLW, thorn, and red death. Then totally forget that vanilla was fusion rifles everywhere with next to unlimited special ammo. TDB with shotguns everywhere and still never ending special Then HoW with shotguns and snipers with still high amounts of special ammo. Y1 was the most special heavy, non-diverse primary period in destiny's short history.

You can strafe and shoot all you want but a sniper often wins with a lot of people double body shotting, make snipers 3 body shot killers and all snipers bolt action. Let's see how many players continue to use them. For the people who will say what about Pve. Pve could do with being a little harder, I've completely stopped playing Pve due to there being no challenge, wouldn't be a bad change for both Pve and pvp.

I think it would shut a lot of people up so it's a glorious idea! There are a lot of people that play Destiny that are anti-ability *head-scratch*... at least they are very vocal. I imagine every ragepost would end with "unless your k/d in the no guns playlist is ___, you have no right to an opinion." But that's OK, that's like a "mute me" tag that makes my life much easier. Love the idea!

4 RepliesThere should be a trials version of this. Over 60% of kills are snipers. Keep supers though, thats what makes us badass.
