5 RepliesIf you have received a message referencing a restriction or a ban, you will have temporarily or permanently lost access to specific activities within Destiny. If your message references a restriction, you will have temporarily lost access to the specific in-game activity. If your message references a ban, you have permanently lost access to that specific in-game activity. There are no options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. 7 RepliesFirst off, you were not banned, you were restricted and restrictions are temporary so get over that. Secondly, you were not banned because you were a girl you were banned because you had a poor connection and turned into the indestructible jumping Easter bunny on other people's screens. You got reported and thus you got restricted after they looked at the logs. Tertiary, a 5 Mbps connection is NOT enough to share and play two Destiny Crucibles on. The reason your husband didn't get banned is because you or he did not set your connection up properly. Most routers nowadays send priority traffic to wireless since it is what is used so heavily now. That means he was using a majority of the bandwidth plus with his packet loss, etc. from being wireless; it screwed the pooch on your connection. You need to configure your connection so that when both PS4's are on, that you get equal bandwidth across both. Then when you go into Crucible; you both can get restricted! Weeeeeee! As I stated, 5 Mbps is the MINIMUM for ONE player to play Destiny, but even that will likely not be enough because with only a 5 Mbps down, your upstream is going to be shite. You need a stable up and down connection (preferably at least 20/5) to avoid problems like these. Bungie has stated in MULTIPLE weekly updates and MULTIPLE Twitter postings that if you have a poor connection and impact the gameplay of others; then you will receive a restriction. Period. Repeat offenders will find more severe restrictions up to and include total lockout from the Crucible (trust me I know a person in that situation). This restriction gives you a chance to properly configure and hard wire BOTH consoles. But hey if you don't want to, everyone knows the definition of insanity...

1 ReplyYou are giving female gamers everywhere a shit name. This post right here is why females have a hard time gaining legitimacy in the gaming community. Way to help your sisters out. You probably got caught doing something shady, then tried to drop the sexist card, I'm picking it up for you and lighting it on fire, because you are full of shit.

Edited by KannibalKlown: 7/7/2016 1:55:04 AMI find it incredibly pathetic when someone immediately goes to "it must be because I'm [x]". Race, gender orientation, religion, whatever.p when there is no,way it was a factor. In this case no way to know your gender online. And it's very disingenuous when the OP eventually admits that she plays with a red bar So... you admit you meet the banning/restriction qualifications, but you're trying to play the gender card I wonder how often she plays that card in regular real life. Racism, sexism, etc. are a real thing and every time someone uses it incorrectly is a mockery to people that truly deal with it every day.

To me its all down to player's who sit on there bums all day and play pvp moaning if u don't like it go play cod a game ment for online shooting

1 ReplyOR, your hubby is doing too much downloading while you play, so you are banned because he is a man not because you are a woman.
-
Are you trying to make a joke, or are you seriously asking whether a restriction is because of you being female?
-
Hi, Bungie does not discuss account bans or restrictions. Bans are permanent, restrictions are temporary. Please see link below for more information on Bungie's Banning Policy. Destiny Account Restrictions and Banning Policies

I can assure you it's not because you're female. As Lyfe said, you are restricted, just wait two weeks and you'll be back to playing crucible. Best of luck!

Good to have restrictions on guardians that rely on their customized network connection to take advantage of other players. When there is 2 or 3 opponents on the opposing team that require 3 or 4 direct hits to be killed and teleport around 5-20 feet because they have optimized their network. It is good that they are reported and something is done about it.

6 RepliesYou probably were red barring and barley took damage.
-
2 RepliesWhat is your internet ping, download and upload speeds?
-
Oh yes definitely cuz you're a girl lol, gtf over yourself.
-
2 RepliesWhy so quick to play the gender card? Just because you use the same Internet as your hubby don't mean you'll have equal connection or stability.

Edited by SonicFusion: 7/5/2016 9:37:19 AMMore then likely you had a red bar, since you're sharing a connection. So could be your hubby took some bandwidth and thud was green. so everyone will have reported you.
