Its the end of the world as we know it
So, at the stroke of midnight many, many of us will make the migration to The Division, and our little online world, as we currently know it, will end.
Its sad, it shouldn't have been this way.
The Division looks like a great game, and it deserves to be played, but, we should all be thorn by having to take some of our Destiny time to go play something else.
But sadly, and we only have Bungie to fault, we are looking forward to The Division so we can have an excuse to abandon the horrible mess Destiny had become.
All this is going on while Bungie ignores its customers.
We ask for new content, they give us a tour of an 8 month old overplayed ship.
We beg for a balance in weapons and for a solution to the stupid sniper meta we live in, we get lesson in music.
And I could go on and on, but you all know what I mean.
So, its with a bit of sadness that I say goodby to my guardians and say hello to my agents.

I literally think some people just play Destiny so they can post a this is why I'm leaving post.. Nobody who really likes destiny cares and believe me Bungie is not losing sleep over it either.. in a couple months you will be whining on a division forum about grinding and posting your whole sob story on why u quit...

1 ReplyOnly a sith sees in such absolutes.. Bro, no game is gonna kill any game, period. And if you like destiny or the division more than another? Then it still doesnt mean that you cannot play the other once in a while. Watch it when bungie is gonna release new content, people will log in again you will see. And the division and destiny are totally different from eachother.

1 ReplyI left Destiny last May. It wasn't because of the latest "new" game coming out or anything like that. It was [i][u]because[/u][/i] of Destiny, plain and simple. I won't be playing Destiny 2 or 3 or any other iteration of the game. There are too many other games out that are much more enjoyable to play. Don't get me wrong, I had fun while I was playing destiny for the first 6 months or so. Great times raiding and playing with the friends I met because of Destiny. I had such high hopes and really believed in the games plan. But I couldn't do the grind anymore. Then to see what Bungie did with all year one gear and content when TTK dropped, all of the time I spent to get that stuff, I was more than glad I didn't continue with the game. So, I am getting the Division. I played the beta and loved it. The friends I met on Destiny are all getting it. We'll have fun with it for sure. But the Division or any other game won't kill Destiny. Destiny (Bungie) will kill itself. Play because it's fun, not because you're addicted. Once the fun is gone (and that's what games are for, right?) it's time to move on.
