you don't think that it is a problem that you can ohk to the body from that far away? even the felwinter's, the weapon accepted by most as the biggest piece of trash ever in destiny, did not kill from even a third as far as you are sniping people in this video. there is nothing that should ohk from that far away other than a sniper headshot. it makes absolutely no sense. giving something a half second charge rate does not justify being able to do that. when i was a complete noob to this game, literally having never stepped foot into the crucible, i got the thorn bounty. this was before the hype. some kid i knew told me to get a rare or uncommon void fusion rifle and go try to get the thorn. now, i was literally like a .1 player at the time. i had never tried a fusion rifle in the crucible. i broke out a freaking green fusion rifle and got the thorn done in a few hours. and i had a terrible fusion rifle that could not one shot from even half that range, and charged twice as long. the moral of the story is that they are noob weapons designed for people that do not have any gun skill. they do require some good timing, but absolutely no gun skill.
