Edit 5: Something with an infinite amount of range shouldn't ever one shot you. Shotguns have bad range, and the range will continue to get nerfed.

Edit 7: I have no issues with high impact + high aim assist, hidden hand, ambush sights, ETC snipers! they're fun. If someone head shots me, good on them! But if you body shot me -blam!- you!

For one I want luck in the chamber off of snipes as sniping against someone with it it extremely annoying. Also sniping takes a lot more skill than shotgunners

Not to mention that everyone who snipes wants it removed too.. I can not tell you how many trials rounds I lost because it was me vs someone with eirenne in a 1v1 sniping match where I am last man standing, and I lose because I get body shot while I am aiming for head because I don't like eirenne.... Believe me, EVERYBODY wants it removed....

I see the edits, and I just want to reiterate, most snipers are not this way. If a sniper needs luck in the chamber, he/she is not a real sniper.
