Ok "filthy casuals" let's have a talk about ToO.
I'm an ok trials/pvp player. I'll be the first to admit that. And there are A LOT of average players out there. But y'all have to stop complaining about not being able to go flawless because of "lag-switchers", "try hards", or whatever excuse you can come up with. Accept the fact that there are going to be players out there who are simply better than you. They are not no lifers or cheaters, they just may be flat out better than you. Year one trials, ran into a lot of lag switchers. You know how many I've ran into year 2? Maybe 2. Stop asking bungie to block flawless players and fix the lag switchers. Practice more if you care so much about it.
EDIT 1: I consider my self a "filthy casual". I wasn't talking down on anybody. I'm an average player.
And to the flawless people who feel the need to be dicks to everybody.

EDIT 3: So I've notice people are talking shit on my KD. Apperently people missed the part where I said I was an average player.
EDIT 4: Courtesy of Oni, I understand there are cheaters and it sucks playing them. But a lot of people blame cheaters when in actuality the other team was just better. I've got messages from people saying we lag switched when our connection was green the whole time.

I was in a wicked auto wreck, so my reaction time sucks. I am also 40 years old, so I will be a little slower any way ;) I am not mad about being injured in a wreck nor am I mad that most players are better than I am. It's all good, the sun will rise tomorrow. Let's all just chill and have fun with whatever we are doing.

After playing halo 5 ive realised how bad the Destiny PvP is. I don't know y ppl still bother with it and take it so seriously, bungie themselves have said that the PvP isn't to be taken seriously...just equip some bullshit op weapon and have some stupid fun with your friends, this isn't the place for serious PvP competition

I think it's this feeling that people have to go flawless every weekend, when you don't. It took my about 3 weeks before I was able to get the right team together and go to the lighthouse, practise playing skirmish or elimination with your team, use call outs and you will eventually make it. Nothing that's worth it comes easy guardians!

11 RepliesJust curious, but those who played ToO a lot during year 1, is it even worth it to go flawless in yr2? It seems like the reviewers on youtube are giving the impression the ToO weapons lack luster and we can get similar, if not better, non-raid weapons outside of ToO

I only saw alot of laggers on last match to fawless. Like guys u can snip in the head over n over or put 5 rounds of chaprone in at point blank n they just stand there. It would always take my mercy but all u can do is report them.......... or if u do get a kill tea bag the fk outta them. I know some ppl got worse then me and got laggers all the way to fawless, its pretty sad if you have to cheat to win, because its about team work. You dont gotta be a good pvper just work well as a team and u can win.

Had 1 match in last years ToO one of the other teams players went and sat on the flag spawn point. We spent 5 games punching and shooting him and he just sat and didn't move. When the counter came up for the end of each game we would all die!!

5 RepliesI'm a casual but not filthy. I've been DDOS'ed out of a flawless and ran into an entire team lag switching before. It's possible but they need to add a connection monitor. If you red bar and immediately green bar and repeat that you shouldn't play trials.

6 RepliesThere's two rules me and my team mates always go by on trials: 1) never get annoyed when beaten by a team with better skill and teamwork. 2) if a team wants to taunt about winning just show them it doesn't bother you. Not a good PvP player but love the rush of intense ToO games. These 2 rules keep me sane.

I love this community. Glad I switched to halo and stopped playing this but I still love getting on and checking in with things. It will never change kids will always cry when they lose and all the no lifers will say nice kd or im so good cause im going pro. Lol its great. Omg I just did trials and people cheat. Omg I did raid and didn't get anything. Omg I started destiny and it told me to put my credit card info on so cause I gotta buy emotes and silver to play now. Omg kid get good. Omg -blam!- this game as you still play. Life is better without destiny. Use to be like most of you but I waited it out and now I just come back to laugh. -blam!- the haters pimp. And who cares what kd is. Dont say shit about player. Cause most of you are ride alongs anyway.
