I'm pretty sure I couldn't care less. Never had one drop randomly for me, so I went ahead and bought one last week.. Haven't fired a single shot with it (or even gotten any upgrades on it, for that matter). XP Didn't need it the first eleven months of the game, don't need it now.

I'm sick of using it so it'll be nice to have other options. I think it's all but guaranteed that Bungie will not make a replacement for it which is also good.
