2 RepliesI am posting this to thank you all so much for your service. What you guys have done is beyond comprehension of the average person. Every thing you have seen I just want to thank you for it. You have put yourself through so much to serve our country asking not much in return. And you come on these forums and see people shitting on you for fighting for what you believe in. It must hurt. Put you keep pushing god dammit! You are the strongest a man can come. The fact that you risk your life for our country is something that us as a country can never repay. Thank you so much once again and I hope I can join you soon.

1 ReplyThis is my view on the negativity going on here. First off I understand people in the military have a hard time (several friends in the army here in the UK and I spent 5 months training with them initially) I understand that you guys can go through hardships and see/experience things people never will. BUT and please bear with me, I don't agree on all this "I'm in the army everyone that is/was in the arm join with me" and then everyone praising at your feet, simply because there are many many professions in the world that don't get recognition for jobs / lives that are equally or even more as hard. Example a female friend of mine is a police officer that specialises in domestic abuse, she spends 5 days a week going from home to home trying to help abused men/women/children and the jobs nearly given her several mental breakdowns. Hell she told me just the other week she was patrolling London with just one other officer looking for a criminal walking around with a machete! Their basically unarmed. I myself am a carer for disabled people, I get average pay (less than cushy jobs) and spend my life looking after those less fortunate, I don't ask for others praise, and I don't go around forums saying "who does what I do!" Like I said I'm not putting you guys down at all, I just feel the whole "army" thing gets thrown around alot and many other people get overshadowed.

Well for some reason this is just for us military lol. Anyway in my opinion anyone who joins the army is willingly/ unwillingly promoting violence. I can't hear all that freedom brainwash shit anymore. Protecting freedom would be ok at home but you go to other countries and tell them what to do (*freedom*) that's kinda self-righteous. And for some reason only the counties that could profit the us get some of dat *freedom*
