36 light should be only obtained through the raids.
Yes pvp should have 36 light
No pvp should not have 36 light

It would be nice if the stats on pvp gear were designed to support strictly pvp. Instead of having just a normal armour rating, it had an armour rating that only work against other players. The armour then would have reduced, if any, armour rating in pve. Players entering a raid in pvp gear would not be able to defend themselves, rendering the gear useless in pve situations.
-
Why if raids are easy than pvp? You cant cheese in pvp.
-
I am one of my hose word people that loves PvP but stinks at it. I play but it's always painful. Sooooo, as a PvE mostly player, I believe that PVPers deserve an alternative path to reach 36 Light. Finally, Iron Banana gear allowed me to get rid of this horrid pokey TitAn Gauntlets.
-
At least the pvp side rewards the work put in. Where as I've seen people complete the raid countless times and still not have all the pieces. It's retarded as shit. Should get raid rep for a vendor(xur) and buy the gear with coins. IB gear should be for coins too.

1 ReplyIt is just more enjoyable to have max gear. You know what? Think about this. There are players out there that do not have regular fiends that they play with. They try to get on a lfg site or try to find time period, to play a raid. For those people, they have a full week to chip away in the iron banner with no time restraints or finding people to play with them. They can get to max level and GOOD for them, they deserve it too. And some still do not have the dark below. Honestly, the ib gear looks better and has better stuff on them for all around gameplay. If I want to do extra damage on hive, I will use the raid armor then and only then.
-
I just want my gear to match. Now I can have full Raid and full Iron Banner.
-
Current system is fine, where 36 light gear is only obtainable through Raids or IB (delayed release).
-
Getting raid gear is a joke, getting IB gear is also a joke. What does it matter?.
-
So, the ONLY way to be level cap is pve?
-
4 RepliesI don't care if PvPers get 32, but I feel like my money is wasted if people who didn't pay for DLC can still hit max level, something only DLC players were able to do
-
Your lack of faith is disturbing You must not have played long or been 32 x3 long Iron banner gear is sexy im rocking it
-
Well, if you can wear your L36 gear into PvP, then the PvP gear should go up to L36.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Beast123: 3/18/2015 8:20:29 PMIt should. I have all raid gear but I want to use something else for a change and not having to buy pvp armor for crucible (to much work) and still look level 32 and not want to look like bugs
-
no i hate the raid gear and i love the ib gear so im happy :)
-
2 RepliesI voted no. Reason being like all other games if you want end game level you should have to play end game content (raids).
-
2 RepliesSmall point for any future polls you might make, I know you put a little description under the poll but it would have been instantly more clear had you listed the title of this post as the question i.e
Should PvP gear reach 36 light? -YES -NO
-
Bewbs.

Who the -blam!- cares
-
Edited by blades of honor: 3/18/2015 6:37:24 PMIt would be retarded not to imo. Not everyone likes to raid
-
You should get max level gear from raids and pvp, the two things that require the most skill. This topic is worthless, but I guess its better than all the "needs to be nerfed" topics..
-
1 ReplySome people only play pvp. Level does not matter in regular pvp but in iron banner level is a factor. There needs to be an alternative for pvp players to obtain max light level for such enents. Therefore I agree with IB gear being 32 light level. Plus their IB gear doesn't have the raid perks which doesn't matter because they won't be doing the raids on a regular basis anyway.......
-
Ooh look another "I want to be a special snowflake" post. You go join the guy that said Xur weapons should be a different colour to 'earnt' weapons.
-
Because anyone who doesn't want more ways to get armor and to look different is am elitist cry baby who probably thinks that getting a Gjallahorn makes them have skills.
-
Boo Hoo cry more. The game's entire premise is that people who do everything get the best stuff.
-
why do you care? Why is it that people think your level should represent your achievements or skill level in this game? It just shows that you've played the hardest content for either PvE or PvP. You don't have to be particularly skilful to get to 32 either way, with IB you can be carried to a win by your team just as you can be carried through a raid. All this fake 32 stuff is just silly.
-
I already have the armor required for 32, but I'm not a fan of the raids. There should be SOME sort of alternative.
