just realized ive spent 1015 hours on this game with crap for rewards
seriously just realized the hours spaced over three characters. thought it was more like 500 something.
jesus bungie why do you shower some people with gallies and others you just flat out crap on?????
I love the game but you are -blam!-ing killing my will to keep on. all the raids nf weeklies bounties... its just becoming so useless as I watch people jump into the last 5 seconds of my hm ce raid as nothing more than an orb and get the only suros/exotic drop for the entire group.
your killing us bungie. one guardian at a time.

12 RepliesYou got some pretty nice weapons maybe not the gally but it's still good nonetheless you still have 3 level 32s so I wouldn't complain I can't get the hunter or Titan head piece to get to 32 and I refuse to do it without the don't touch me and ruin wings

1 ReplyI got my Gjallarhorn out of a nightfall, twice in a row. I just got my 3rd yesterday out of CE Hard. I have <700 hours. I have talked to people who have over 2K hours, AND STILL have not gotten the Gjallarhorn. I agree, RNG sucks.

14 RepliesSeriously man, I have two and I don't use it all the time, it's a good weapon but it's not the end-all-be-all. If you are playing just to get a particular drop, a game with RNG may not be for you.

4 RepliesIf you really think about it - it's like a Casino that Bungie has created. People keep throwing the dice to win g'horn and the odds are very very thin. This becomes an addiction because g'horn is must-have (or at least it has that reputation ) Before you know it, you have stopped enjoying the game for what it is and you are only playing to get the reward. Obsessive compulsiveness pushes you to keep doing raids weeks after weeks! If you have put in 500 or 1000+ hours just because you want to throw that dice - you have been robbed - not just the game price but much more. If you make $30k annually - that's like 2080 hours per year. You grinding 1000 hours means you have been robbed $15k in terms of opportunity cost. Think about it people - that g'horn - is that worth that much of money!?!? If you are playing it for fun- then you can do whatever you want - doesn't matter if you have put in 1000+ hours. But I highly doubt it, because the content does not support that! Just my 2 cents! Thanks

4 RepliesI'm coming on close to the 1k hours mark. If it wasn't for Xur, I would have quit this game a long ass time ago. I've had absolute garbage drops. Maybe 4 halfway useful exotics since launch. I hate that they had to add an NPC to basically be used as a crutch because the RNG in this game is the worst I've ever seen in my life.

6 RepliesIt's RNG on paper. In reality it IS an asymptotically programmed selective! Most get a drop then a flood! Definitely not random. The program premise is that plausible denial promotes continued gaming in the hope of reward. The real reward is the game play itself. It is us gamers who have associated drops with gaming reward, not Bungie. To them, exotics are the carrots that keep us wanting more. To us it is the reward why we play and denial breeds discontent and these posts. To some, they feel a RNG drop somehow equates to earning. Right, to each his/her own... Posts are not a bad thing, in fact they are great. Unfortunately Bungie does not care and will not listen to their customers complaints. That is the reason all games have a life cycle and this one, unfortunately, is winding down before puberty. I say that because they will not fix the numerous network glitches, but continue to disarm the Guardians allegedly fighting to defend the Earth from annihilation! I love playing this game but I can see its end too close for my comfort... I play for fun: rewards, I care less. My only desire was Hard Light and I can supply a small army now, thanks Random Numbskull Generator. I am sure that you were not programmed to drop me wholesale!(Right) Nordic Rocket Launcher, >1800 hours showed me I can kill anything Bungie can throw at me with primaries and specials! Rarely use rockets unless I need to clear a large concentration of minions quickly. Boss fights, well I love kicking their A$$ slowly so they know a Guardian killed them, and exactly how he did it! Especially since they think they can invade my Solar System and get a quick death, wrong, denied!!! No RNG on death in my galaxy darkness... Slow, deliberate and with a guardian in your face: enemy or sad excuse for one...LOL

4 RepliesIt just sucks, man. You can say I've got luck because of the 4 Gjallarhorns I've gotten, but other than that, all my exotics are from Xur (besides the Thorn and Bad Juju).

8 RepliesI only have barely 200 hours in the game and I've randomly received the gjallerjorn, ice breaker, and universal remote multiple times. Bungie didn't make this game for hardcore video game players. They made it for everyone including small children, people who have no prior video game experience, and people who only want to spend a very small amount of time playing the game. Bungie does not want to gain any type of advantage over other players just because you're more skilled or put a lot of time in to playing the game. If you're looking to be rewarded for your skill and your time, you're by far playing the wrong game.
