Are people really clueless about Red Death?
I enter a Crotas End Hard mode raid with randoms. Some guy checks out my gear, and says: "The Bad news is he's using a Red Death"
Epic face palm. Red Death is one of the best guns to use in Hard Mode Crota especially if you're the sword bearer because it regens health for every kill. You won't have to worry about orbs. Plus the recent buff makes it a beast. I guess he has no clue.
I really do hope Xur sells it so people can understand just what a beast of a weapon this gun really is. It maybe the best gun to have when House of Wolves drops just for the health Regen ability.
Edit: some people are missing the point. Not everyone has a Gjallarhorn, not everyone has a health regen helmet, not everyone generates orbs for Sword runners where they have to go and pick up the sword. Red Death guarantees a Sword Bearers survival against accidental damage from Thralls and Boomers. That is the point. Therefore, it is in fact not "Bad News" that someone uses a Red Death, at least you know they will not die randomly because they failed to grab an orb to regen health.

When I run sword I use red death These scrubs get so scared as soon as they don't see ghorn

Seems like a waste when you could equip legendary armor and each class has its own perk to regen health why waste your exotic weapon as a primary

I always use red death when I am sword bearer on hard mode crota. Saved the raid multiple times by keeping me at full health without having to worry about grabbing orbs. If I am not sword bearer I use my gally.

I need xur to sell the red death I need it to complete my collection for the longest time now

Actually best for ab is gally I would know I do it that way the swordbearer is downed fast

Got my Red Death from CE Normal the week before the Hard Mode was released; absolutely refuse to run any other primary during the encounter.

1 ReplyRed Death is powerful, and is one of my favorite guns to use. Also, what do you really need a primary gun for besides the first room in Crotas End? Some people are ignorant. All you need is a sniper and a rocket. That's really all you need.

Id rather have players using gally to easily put down crota or icebreaker so they always can put down the swordbearer when he spawns without having to worry about ammo And people are bad enough to lose health haha?

I've had mine forever...just like every other gun. In this game, it's really no big deal LOL my red death has and will continue to sit in my vault maxed out for months now...only being able to use 1 exotic is alot of the reason so many continue to sit around...there are way better exotics to be used!

It's a fantastic weapon for the swordbearer, but take health regen away and it sucks. EDIT: wow, I see some interesting posts in here regarding this matter and believe some people forgot somewhere that Destiny is a video game.

never needed it, i'd rather use my exotic elsewhere... and i do have red death, and run sword. Not saying its a bad choice, just preference.
