Wow, bungie is just trolling with Xur now.
The fact that Universal Remote was sold last week should of shut any speculation down towards whether or not Xur's inventory is RNG based. SHOTGUN update, he sells a shotgun; whatever. Had the original Universal Remote.
Why can't you sell the damn Suros, or Last Word again? Oh that's right, they just want me to keep playing.
It's sad how excited I typically am for what XUR COULD have, instead of what he actually brings.... if he sells Ice Breaker tomorrow, then they're just wasting my time. Week, after week, after week.
This freaking sucks. Sell something worth our week of playing time please? Instead of the same damn 3 or 4 guns. No more NLB, NO more NLB and for the love of the Traveler, ACTUALLY surprise us.
EDIT 1: Honestly disappointed with the amount of people who are bypassing my valid point with the usual, oh he's not selling what you want blah, blah, NO.
It's simply about them not having him sell something amazing in a long damn time. Get over yourself if you have all of the guns, NO ONE CARES.

First of all, Xûr is, in fact, RNG. He has a pre-set though. The fact he sold a shotgun right after patch 1.1.1 doesn't prove anything about it not being RNG. It's just a coincidence. Xûr can only sell 14 weapons. So that's a 1/14 chance, every week that universal remote will be sold. The numbers are actually pretty high, when you think about it. Of course, Bungie has the ability and right to change Xûr if they please. What I really don't understand from posts like yours is this; why do your think Bungie hates you? Why do you think they are personally not selling SUROS Regime or The Last Word? Just to make you mad? I'll tell you now that's not the case. You may say "they want us to keep playing". Ok. That's a very valid argument. But what if you were in Bungie's shoes? Would you want players to really fight for that gun and keep playing your game, or would you want Xûr to sell everything all the time 24/7 (you'd get less playtime, because there's nothing to work towards)? Think about that.

Still curious to why any of this matters. I played the game, I got all the exotic weapons. I know it's luck what drops, but the the fact that Xûr sells anything is a privlage not a right. Stop acting so entitled, it's making the rest of the human race look bad

If you notice when threads about the game dying become very frequent, Xur shows up with something dope or new. Very convenient he sold TLW when CoD came out and IB was coming up or already happening. Every couple weeks or once a month Xur has something worth buying. The dlc shit is so old. I purposely didn't buy DB and NLB because I new I'd get them from Crota. Sure enough that's what happened. NLB is the worst weapon ever made in a game. At least DB is useful
