Yes and hearing from the horses mouth is soooooo reliable. They are paid to make their game seem better than it is. You're not gonna get a strait answer form them they'll spit out statistics of who is playing and how often that doesnt mean that the player who signs on enjoys it or is a massive fan maby like me its the only game i currently own after moving away from consoles only buying an xb1 for the purpose of playing destiny in hopes that is was as advertised ive been folowing development since it was first announced now that doesnt make me an expert that makes me an informed invested customer

Well as I said before, there is no way to tell how many players are playing, and how many that have left. I can sure as hell tell you it isn't twelve mil. Regarding the 12m players it's been independently published as such but of course you don't do your research.
