How to get to 20 quickly?
I'm making my 2nd warlock now and just wondering what the fastest way to level it up would be?

I found bounties had better xp than just story.

Get a friend already at level 20 or higher. Rush trough campagin and strike as fast as possible. It takes about 5-6hours.

6 RepliesEdited by W_R_A_I_T_H__: 1/31/2015 10:29:50 PMSave at least one white/non-upgradeable item for each weapon class and armor type. Arm each one before turning in bounties. All XP from bounties will be applied to level upgrades vs focusing some of the XP towards weapon and armor upgrades.

Story gets you to 17. Crucible from 17 to 20.

Do the story missions while having bounties equipped. If you have the dlc, you can run Eris bounties too.

Edited by Elyke69: 1/31/2015 11:15:49 PMIf you play over the span of 3 days or so, doing all your vanguard bounties and a couple story missions on hard each day, you can hit 20 in 5 hours or less. That way, you only have to play about an hour and a half to two hours a day. If you do that you don't have to bother with wasting time in crucible.

2 Replies1) Have your high level Warlock run around in the cosmodrome and collect the low level gear your second character will need. 2) Run as many bounties as you can to get your second character levelled up. 3) When your levelled up a bit, run the story missions on the hardest level you can for more XP. I think it took me around 5 days of this to get my second and third character up to 20.

Run every single thing on hrd and go to tower everytime after a mission takes 4 hours u got to di everything in order to first all the mission on the planet then strikes

Bounties as soon as you can get em. If they work perfect with your story missions that's even better

Also use the Husk of the Pit as soon as you can, that gun melts through the story missions

Patrol/crucible+bounties until like level 10 then hit highest difficulty you can. Or have a 30+ carry you through the 30 difficulty levels. You'd probably be level 20 in like 2 hours.
