Gifted or Cursed? What are you
So far I've had 6 or 7 Gjallahorns. You may think wow, he's got 6 or 7 of the most hyped sought after gun in the game, but unless House of Wolves is going to bring in a akimbo mode (joke) it's pointless.
Also pretty much every strike I get a purple engram, mostly heavy weapons, and I always get exodus RS1. I've had three of each damage type.
It's become a running joke with me and my clan, in fact I'm now considered to be a rocket launcher specialist.
I'm fairly sure I fit into the cursed category for RNG drops, it's just cruel, has anyone else had this kind of luck of is it just me?

I used to be cursed. First 4 months I saw 3 exotic drops. Then month four gave me 3 more. In month five, shit turned around. I now own ever exotic weapon. I have no idea what drugs RNGeesus is on.

After having the truth drop 13 times when I just want the gjallarhorn, I'd say I'm cursed.

I can't say I'm both but a lot of times I don't have great luck but not cursed I don't know to explain it

1 ReplyA combination, I suppose. I get miserable luck on things like Vanguard and Cryptarch packages, but the few times I've done raids (or raid parts), I've almost always gotten good stuff. Not necessarily the best, but I'm not all that picky. I find, though, that when I really *need* something.. like shards or energies, I never get them. And when I don't, I always do. I finally got all my vender gear leveled up and no longer had a need for Ascendent Shards. So, I run NF a week or so ago. What do I get? Nothing by 12 shards, when I have need of about 48 energies. So, good and bad.

I go on hot and cold streaks. I'll get lots of good stuff the same week, and then I'll get nothing for like a month.

cursed which is why i don't play much anymore. there needs to be ways to work towards getting the guns you want in this game and not just all rng luck bs

2 RepliesI get fück all. All the time. And if I do get anything half decent, I either get the same weapon from Rahool or from a Legendary package. I bought TFWPKY 1969, went and got another one from a Legendary package. Bought Crusader, got another one from Rahool, Do Gooder from a Blue Engram, then Rahool gave me the same the next day. Hardly any Exotics drop for me. The only time I seem to be lucky is playing PvP in Iron Banner. I've had Gheleons Demise, Silimar's Wrath, Efrideets Spear & Jolders Hammer drop for me. Just need the HC and Rocket Launcher now.

Cursed. Nightfalls, VoG and Deathsinger, plus exotic chests done. My total loot? Raid boots and Chatterwhite (plus shards/energies). Seen team mates get IB and MIDA.

Cursed I'm still trying to get Prae's Timepiece from the raid Nightfall reward for my Lock yesterday was Helm of Inmost Light But oh yes RNGesus, I totally need 5 TLWs...

3 RepliesThe RNG system as a whole is a curse. Still no Gjallarhorn but ive had Truth drop about 6 times. After the dlc I had No Land Beyond drop about 5 times. I'm now nick named No Man Beyond

1 ReplyA little of both for me. 50+ atheon runs and no vex. But all in all, ive gotten: 3 ghorns, 2 hawkmoons, crux, fatebringer, word, and almost all the exotics in little to no effort/runs.

1 ReplyGifted and cursed. Ill go a solid month without getting anything then one week ill get multiple exotics. Like the first time i ran hard VOG, a few weeks after it came out, i got mythoclast. but then a few days later they nerfed it. So gifted and cursed seem pretty accurate.

Leaning towards gifted, i always get weapons that i don't want. But later i have come to like them, suros and hawkmoon is two examples :)
