Necrochasm: Buff Needed
Hardest exotic to get in game, suppose to be the best exotic. But it is kinda bad.
No impact
Too low magazine with the high rate of fire
High rate of fire autos are garbage
Some suggestions are; (Some of these suggestions may be OP, just throwing out ideas and what other people suggest)
Double the magazine
Give some impact
Lower rate of fire
Lower rate of fire but increase damage when scoping
Body shot kills also trigger the cursed thrall explosions
Every precision kill triggers a thrall explosion
Less recoil
The cursed thrall explosion is the same as firefly that does a bit more damage. Firefly happens every time you kill an enemy with a headshot, Necrochasm is only 'frequently' so there are times you won't even get it. So is that better then firefly? Is that worth an exotic? Eidolon Ally with a fancy looking firefly.
No one uses max rate of fire auto rifles... Abyss Defiant is better than Necrochasm.

Again I agree with everything but lower rate of fire. It's the only maxed HRoF exotic and that what I personally like about it.

It would be a good idea tp give it the same perk as the Abyss Defiant, aiming slow down fire rate but increases accuracy and damage output.

1 ReplyYou do realize the point of this weapons is that it has low impact, right? What makes up for the low impact and magazine size is the exploding factor. See, you can kill on enemy with it but kill 2 or 3 others with the explosion. At the very least you'll do a decent amount of damage to them. This isn't a run and gun weapon. It's not meant to kill enemy after enemy, or take down majors (though it does ok in that area). Learn to use strategy and what certain exotics are for.

For a weapon that maybe 5 to 10% of players have, it should be a lot more worthy of striving for. Most of my friends don't care to try for it because they know it's a terrible weapon. Fix it.

The problem with the weapon is the impact imo. It'd be enjoyable if it was more like the vanquisher/shadow price.
