This. It's THEIR GAME. This was known to be a game that would be supported. They announced the first DLC's prior to launch of the game, how did you not know this was going to happen? You don't need to by Sylvia Brown to read along the lines here.
Most of these people who are crying about this are little kids who don't have jobs and can't find a way to pay for it. Shovel snow, cut grass, get a part-time job. EARN something.

From what I've seen, most people asking about why this particular nightfall seems to pop up so often and cause problems for non DLC owners, are in fact, people who already own the DLC. OP and myself included.
-
Simple, advertising their content. Marketing.

Okay, you buy a strawberry cake and you put it in your fridge. Strawberrys are your favorite and there is a nice big one on one of the slices. You come back and decide you are going to eat your cake only to find that the strawberry slice has been cut out and is missing. Every week there is a chance the strawberry piece may be placed back in your fridge for you to eat. You can either wait for the strawberry piece to return or pay the dirty -blam!-er who is holding it hostage to get it back. That is what Bungie has done.
-
No it's not. Terrible analogy. So, that one strawberry cake last me forever? No. I have to spend more money (DLC) to get more of the cake. I understand what you are trying to say, but it doesn't matter. Either buy the DLC or not. If people are still playing this game this long after release, are on the forums, then their is no only ONE legitimate reason on why one has not bought the DLC,; finance. Thus, if you're an adult, $20 bucks is pocket change every three months, so who is having trouble affording this? Little kids and teenagers with no jobs. That's the main point. Since they don't want to mow lawns or shovel snow, or even obtain a part-time job, they forge these BS excuses of "I won't pay out of principle". Really? GTFO

You missed the point mate. For a lot of people the Nightfall is one of their favorite things because of the chance for exotic drops. The nightfall was part of the original game that people paid for but now some weeks it's held behind a pay wall. I personally have purchased both of the expansions but I can see that people should have access to nightfalls since they paid for them in the original game. Not the new strike maps but a separate playlist of the old strikes.
-
They just seem like people who have a difficult time understanding business models
-
It's the generation of entitled children who want everything for free. Without buying DLC they got new vendor weapons and exotic drops, level 31 armorer. Yet, they cry over a strike on nightfall.
-
I disagree with that too. "Entitlement generation" is nonsense. They are more likely people who don't understand the business model that Bungie is using & therefore are angry as a result of being confused
-
haha I work for the government. Trust me, a lot of people are entitled. How are they not here? Have you read some of their responses? So many children on here are saying that Bungie should make another playlist of non-DLC nightfalls for those who didn't buy the DLC. THAT'S ENTITLEMENT. The fact that one does not want to pay to get the content and wants bungie to make a separate list for their non-paying scrub ass*s, is a "me me me" mentality.
-
There have always & will always be people who have an entitlement complex. Labeling an entire generation that way is lazy IMO. People are mad bc their 60$ isn't going as far as they thought it would, but again, that's a lack of understanding, not some sort of laziness
