I'm getting bullied for playing destiny and I need help

Everyday at school some kid always makes fun of me for playing this and I love the game but now I feel like I should stop. If you look at my character, I've done so much in this game and I don't want to lose it all but I feel like I have to.
What should I do? Please help

Edited by Wolfgang Native: 1/29/2015 6:40:11 AMThat's a part of life that I can relate to you with wholeheartedly, I was the most socially awkward kid ever in high school and played my fair share of video games, and yeah I got laughed at by the some people, but let me tell you something kid. That shit is never going to matter. Because guess what? I graduated found my courage and enlisted in the United States military as a medic. Being in an environment where everyone is a stranger and I grew out of my introverted state, and grew up to be halfway proud of the guy I am today. Currently still active duty today stationed on Fort Lewis, Washington and I still find the time to get on and play Destiny with my fellow guardians. Much like the armed forces, games like Destiny help kids learn basic leadership skills, enhance your coordination, and build friendships with strangers. Be proud of who you are and what you do. At the end of the day, lions don't lose sleep over the opinions of sheep, and when I go home on leave a couple times as year, I see those people who made fun of me and high school. Wanna know where popularity and being a bully got them in life? A job at McDonalds. So do what you love, love what you do, and don't take shit from anyone man. Life is full of opportunity so seize it, come home and play Destiny in your down time, and above all, smile for the haters. -Dylan

Remind yourself that you only have to tolerate these morons whilst you're at school. Soon, you'll leave school and never have to deal with them. In another 10 or 15 years you will likely be able to look down on them as they sound like life's future losers. I had a hard time in Primary School and honestly look back it it now and laugh. At the moment, your whole world is school and that's understandable. Just remember that school takes up the a very small percentage of your life and you only really learn about yourself (for me, anyway) once you break away from your parents, school etc. You will soon learn that what other people (read: idiots) think of you doesn't matter one bit. Love yourself.
