What would you add to pve to make it more addicting...

I have seen lots of post's about this but I want to see some creative ideas, my favorite is a survival mode , what's yours,share your voice ,maybe if it is heard enough change will come sooner ....

      • Passive enemies (LET ME EXPLAIN FIRST). You walk into a room with Vex shooting at Fallen and visa versa. Instead of killing the Fallen and the Vex, you only attack Vex and leave the Fallen completely alone. Chances are that the Fallen will still shoot at you, but if you leave them alone, slowly they will stop attacking you. The more time you spend not shooting at a particular enemy, the less likely they are to attack you, until finally, you can start accepting missions from them. If you continue down this path, eventually you will leave the Traveler and join that particular enemy's side, where then you can go on missions to destroy the city, assassinate other guardians, and simply play as a villain. This will add another layer of story that will make the game slightly more interesting, and give people motivation to play PVP more than they already do.

        • Survival mode. You and your fellow guardians (up to 3) are responsible for defending a segment of the wall to the last city on earth. Or defending an outpost of survivors in the wild somewhere.

        • Horde mode, raid rank (improves drops by a small percentage/takes a long time to level), more war events WITH instance merging for a bigger fight, sparrow/ship races, armor skins (completely changes the look of an armor), animated shaders and gun shaders, more gun classes, more sub classes (two support and two damage), a lot more strikes, strikes that change circumstances, city exploration (you can't win a war if you don't know what you're fighting for), more lore into the game please... Don't care where, different styles of sparrows, in game hair/ face marking changes, tower chat room (down by the bar area only), more weekly events, fix synthesis, have different rarity of synthesis that has different cool downs, and fix bugs. There's a nigh endless amount of ideas I could think up minor or big, but no developer will see these forums. ---------- TL;DR: more content, more customization, fix existing and future bugs. Bungie won't read any of the forums.

              • I want to be able to access all my character's inventories from the vault at the same time. Switching my icebreaker from one to another is time consuming and causes several loadscreens. It has literally caused me to miss out on nightfall teams. Bungie has made some beautiful loadscreens but anything that reduces the number of loads I have to sit through is good game design *cough*orbital vault*cough*

                    New idea: Iron Banner War Front. Go on a massive 50 or so man force to attack enemies in a large scale all out war style battle front. Imagine driving an Iron Banner Tank. [Edit] Sorry, i didn't see NWO Malice's post that also involved a tank.

                    • Need some kind LFG system in game. Maybe shown a list of loner players, their load out, and desired task. Let us invite right from there. Then it would auto- delete the entry. The forums are nice, but clunky. And while we're at it, in game grimoire. Tired of complaints about the story

                        Once a week a super boss appears on certain planets at a set time. This boss would require a healthy amount of guardians to drop it. No checkpoints. Just a timer before it vanishes. (Patrol) More fallen walkers or atleast a few areas that drops 2 in 1 location. Event boss on Mars thats in a tank. More areas on each planet where npcs are at full on war and this event happens more regularly. Missions that require the players to take down corrupted guardians. Bounties that require a player to kill a certain strike boss with a special. More of a variety of bounties...

                        • I would add more strikes, raids, planets,ect. Also way more exotics to make it last longer also more subclasses and mabey even a 4th character type

                              • I'd add a horde mode of some such, but it would have to be balanced as to not take away from strikes. I'd also add to the pve experience by adding immersion, or actual interesting things that happen, like ships fighting overhead, anti air gunfire in the distance, varried boss enemies that are actually unique and have unique fighting mechanics, different types of missions other than go here, deploy dinklebot, kill stuff, go to next spot, kill more or deploy dinklebot again. Or at least vary it up more, like say you had to shoot down a fallen ship, raid it, and then get out after you took something and overloaded the reactor. Or escorting a convoy, rescuing people, optional stealth segments that could reward you somehow. Npc companions. Add more traps, where did the trip mines from the start go? Automated defenses like turrets, vehicle type enemies that occur more frequently rather than the fallen walkers, maybe smaller versions of walkers? Or mechs? Dog type units? I guess thrall are like that. But fallen or vex don't? Or cabal? Bigger worlds, outposts other than the tower. Bindable buttons for items To put it simply, there's a ton of wasted potential.

                                  • A single random enemy selected from every map that isn't instanced to individual fireteams, has green and lower removed from the loot table with everything else being added to it (raid stuff and all). The green and lower is replaced with 1k glimmer or something. When this enemy dies, another is immediately rolled to be next. There is no indication as to who this enemy is other than the amazing drops.

                                    • It'd also be neat if there was a meta game. Maybe sending resources to different installations in the city. The game would tally all the players' contributions and reward based on what got the most. I dunno... There's that big city down there and we don't do anything with it.
