Dude i manage to do it with three characters, vog and crota, weekly and heroic, nightfall and daily. Just need a good squad.

I have one we just aren't always on at the same time but a couple days a week. Usually it's 2 or 3 of us and occasionally a 4th but there's probably 10 people who we all play together back and forth. All are very good. We usually just grab a player or 2 off the forum to fill the space. Also a part of why we have no problem kicking people who slack because we usually don't.
