1) On Tuesday reset, 1st order of business should be to complete Nightfall for the EXP boost. 2) When you collect your Vanguard/Eris bounties, look to see if any share a common goal. Taking time to do this can let you complete multiple bounties at the same time and thus save time running ALL of the bounties. 3) Always leave your glimmer total around 22000-23000. This can be done by picking up heavy ammo paks which always come in handy. Letting your glimmer hit 25000 while you're our doing missions, causes you to waste the potential to collect more glimmer. 4) SAVE all of your glimmer bonus items like Silken Codex which drops from hive kills. It's very easy to build of a reserve of glimmer to use in an emergency. This makes the Cyrptarch always have an exclamation mark, but you'll get used to it. 5) Anticipate what heavy weapon you might need in your next bounty when you see heavy ammo paks ready for pick up, such as equipping a void heavy for Vex elite kills or a rocket launch for a public event run. Doing this can help you save burning more heavy ammo synth paks than you need. 6) When doing Patrols with a group, spread out to different areas of the planet. The kill bounties go faster and the scout & scan bounties go really fast. 7) The easiest planet for Public Events might be the moon, with Earth a very close 2nd. By fast I mean the ability to get from one area to another very quickly. Also, use the Destiny Public Events Timer - http://destinypublicevents.com I'm sure I could think of more, but this is a good start.

Don't chase Light levels. Make sure your gear reflects what perks compliment your play style.

Make three different characters and use your vault to swap weapons, your weapon collection is your most important thing, you should have 1 weapon of each class and one of each dmg type for each weapon (that's 15 different guns not including primarys) also learn which dmg type is most effective against which enemies. Biggest one for me.... Equip the weapons and armor that guy want to upgrade when turning in bounties.... For a good month of play, I was wondering why stuff wasn't leveling up other then actual in-Game usage. Also, be smart w your bounties, many times they stack = get several done at once, in one location. Run appropriate glimmer buff while doing so.

TIP/TRICK: The concussive and/or elemental qualities of all projectiles flung by weapons in Destiny are useful for lowering the health of enemies. When attempting to destroy an opponent, always shoot whatever gun that you happen to be holding in the general direction of the assailant. Be forewarned, however, because weapons will only do damage when your target is struck by the projectiles that are spewed forth by each firearm.

One thing i forgot to do early was this: When you complete bounties and come back to the tower, make sure you switch your weapons and armor to the weapons and armor you want to rank up. For example, if you have (2) legendary weapons and you already ranked one up to max, make sure you switch to the other one when you hand in bounties. Otherwise, you are wasting all that XP on a gun that is already maxed out.
