Second, i hate doing that glitch shit all thr time and sure crota is realy easy but theres is something i hate more then glitching and this is... ... third, the fking game mechanic that work like sh** if the game would run like it suposed to do no one would try to glitch for example crota direkly stands up after getting him down so no time to attak him or in VoG sometimes you run throug the portal in the last part and you just stay on mars or venus and meanwhile atheon is blowing your whole team, so in my opinion its ok for me to glitch when the game mechanic itself is not working for 100% or even 99% but no every time i do a raid there are these moments where everybody is like what the f*** why did atheon/crota is doing this so instead of just 2 or maybe three trys i'm sitting for 2 hours in the boss battle because nothing work like its suposed to do so please bungie first fix the bugs and problems and then the glitches i have no problem with a hard fight against a boss but if you feel like stick and stone against a tank... this just ruin the game for me

3 RepliesHilarious. Just killed Crota in a few minutes with a couple friends. Killed him with 1 sword. This raid is too easy to need a cheese. U all suk nufsed.

People will find bugs/explotables/"cheese" in your game no matter what you do. What you need to do to make it stop is DISCIPLINE THEM . Start banning the cheesers, and I promise eventually it will stop being a fad and people will play proper. That is the only way these patches will have any effect. Then you can focus on actual bugs like the black hammer hive disruptor. Where is that old Legendary Halo Ban Hammer that was used for network manipulators during the Halo 2 days?! Whether you agree or disagree I think it's definitely a topic we need to discuss. A glitch in my opinion would be defined as something that is clearly not meant to be an in game mechanic, where as a cheese could be defined as any easier method of doing something, but is within in game mechanics. In the case of the network manipulation to down crota, this is CLEARLY not an in game mechanic and can be considered a glitch! To make it clear, I agree we should not ban for an in game mechanic being used to make things easier, that can be considered strategy to an extent. What should be a bannable offence is network manipulation and glitches, which is exactly what OP is doing. FINAL EDIT; Whether you agree or disagree, I just want to thank you for the posts and comments. Lots were simply insulting but that was expected. Either way, I am certain I accomplished my goal which was to simply spark this type of conversation amongst Bungie employees. I hope someone there asked the question "Should we discipline these players? And if not, how can we fix this problem?"

Tried this with a couple buddies and couldn't get it to work. Not sure if we just didn't activate it or time it right but we never got it to click. After 3 attempts we left, found 3 more people and ran it legit. I'll be honest on this one, seems easier to just do it the normal way. I'm not a raid expert so who knows.

Crap cheese. He kneels randomly, so unless you can time it perfectly and have the sword ready, I don't see this as useful.

What I find funny is that the same people calling other cheaters are cheaters themself they just will not admit it. They may not have wanted to do the cheese, but guaranteed more then 90% of the players here have cheesed it at least once. And I'm beginning generous about the precentage, because it could more then 90%.

I'm against cheesing but I do say though that it is nice to see people finding glitches and cheeses still after that PRETENTIOUS post that the bungie Dev team put out. Maybe ... Just maybe instead of getting sucked into releasing your product early (by your competitor I might add) fire your shet play testers, and hire testers with at least half a brain.

3 RepliesCheesing is part of any game. To keep trying to fix it is stupid really. No game is perfect. To find glitches actually is kind of cool. I personally think its faster to do it the right way. But really who cares its your game you paid for. Just play have fun. Stop crying you babies. I'm a day one player. I think nothing should have been patched actually. Updates are fine. But to keep" trying" to fix things is gonna make the game worse. Let it ride I'm sure all will be noted when destiny 2 comes out. Have fun. N play however you like!

I think it might be hard for Bungie to delay the hard mode for CE much longer because the new DLC with House of Wolves is coming in 2 months, there would be almost no point to play the hard mode of CE if it comes out same time as the new DLC. Thoughts?

Actually it's less time, and easier to do it legit LOL. Don't have to wait for person to come back, and it's easier to time killing the SB, for When Crota will Kneel.
