For the people worried about this getting patched by Tuesday: They will not patch this on time with the new update. Bungie takes forever to update this game. If they decide to patch this also, it will delay the original update that was planned for Tuesday so either way, we will have time to do this.
And for people that DISLIKE cheeses, this is getting the word out. Everyone wins

Edit 4: Just confirmed, I did this on my titan the same way post patch.
Edit 5: If you are having a hard time try jumping from farther back on the rock, it will make you stay in the light for a longer period of time.

7 RepliesLearn to do stuff the right way and stop looking to cheese everything. This is why everyone was a scrub at the Templar and Atheon points in the VoG when it was patched, because everyone did nothing but cheese those points. It's because derps want to cheese everything that Bungie has to spend time patching stuff instead of trying to fix the known problems they already have. Let Bungie fix the damn server problems instead of focusing on trying to stop scrubs that can't do stuff legit from, cheeseing everything.

6 RepliesThe Lamp section of the raid is so stupidly easy that I laugh at people trying to find ways to get across it by " cheesing " it. I've never had a problem with the lamps since the day the raid came out, and not to mention you can 100% solo it if you know what you're doing, The fact that anyone is even checking this thread is retarded

Edited by TheLoneHunter: 1/13/2015 4:08:37 PMi dont care if people want to cheese, to each there own, but people need to keep there discoveries to themselves. all you have done is potentially prolong hardmode for those of us who are boss at this game and want the weapons and such it has to offer. not to mention im pretty sure bungie/activision decided to punish the comunity with the whole having to rebuild the second bridge each time. because if you -blam!-ers would stop -blam!-ing with the game then odds are we could just hold the three points and the bridge stay instead of having to wait for it to build all 6 times(one for each person in the team).... fact is those are preasure plates and there is no reason the bridge should go away at all as long as your standing on the three plates and your team can hold. but you idiots and your cheeses are -blam!-ing it up for the rest of us. but i digress, scrubs will be scrubs.

3 RepliesIt's honestly laughable that people can't get past the EASIEST part of the raid without cheesing. But hey! Those who suck and want the gear, I guess this is the only way. Gone are the days where tactics, teamwork and strategy were needed! Now, there is only lvl 32's who suck at using the sword... (Trust me, I've seen this.. Damn Titan kept bouncing off the sides, wasted every minute that Crota was on his knee, repeatedly -blam!-ed up too but was the only one who could do enough damage.) It's painful being in a raid group with someone who doesn't know what their doing, especially when that player is boasting full raid gear and you are the one carrying them.

I'm a 32 Warlock with all stats maxed & I have all Agility plus I'm using a weapon that grants extra Agility & as soon as I jump off the rock Weight of Darkness instantly comes back, even if I sit on the rock for a few seconds to make sure I'm completely defuffed, it comes back instantly as soon as I leave that rock.... Someone make a video with a Warlock please & actually give a detailed tutorial like place to stand/jump, etc. Edit: I give up on this shitty raid. I'm taking into consideration everyone's advice. Stand farther back. Use your super. As soon as I step off the rock WOD comes back so I give up.

I tried this multiple times as a warlock with mida but everytime I would jump of the rock before I would even get high enough for the ledge the darkness came back and always made me fall. What am I doing wrong?
