The difference is the range, with suros you can be killed 10km far away, hardlight is a CQC weapon, and at that range You'll have to face fusions and shotguns

I won the iron banner multiple times with both suros and hardlight. Overall I like hardlight way more. It shreds like a mofo and just overall dominates. I'm yet to lose a rumble match vs anyone with a suros....

I use hard light in combination with an armor piercing snipe. I shoot once through wall then spam hard light till the kill pops up.

It's not bad. just fusions are gonna -blam!- you up in the hard lights intended range. It's very smg like I think a mobility boost instead of richochet bullets would of been a better perk. at least you could have a better strafe in the fusion rifles prime range.

Well you can't base it on just that. You could have shitty thorn user playing against you but still doesn't ignore the fact that it is a two shot killer. Look at actual damage numbers over time and see which has better dps and such. You said that guy was fifth with a Suros, so he was just bad. I could use the worst weapon in the game and still kill him. Don't use the Suros guy as a comparison. I don't have either guns so I'm just being unbiased.

I've had both weapons for a while now, in pve I prefer hard light, idk it looks better and I enjoy it the most In crucible, I played a couple of matches some weeks ago and hard light was incredibly accurate and performed well, however you'll have a better performance with a suros though

I got Hardlight at week 2 of this game and used it all the way until I got Suros. Just got Suros a month ago and Suros is a lot better weapon by far.

I've both and for PVP, personally, I think Suro's is better to use. There's a trick to getting over the slow shooting when you upgrade, works a treat! Hard Light is GREAT for long distances though. Ran a 26 kill PVP contol with Suro's yesterday killing 4 people at once (I suck so it was great for me)

1 ReplyI don't have a hard light but looking at its stats, much like the Mythoclast, the Suros would dominate it at long range. Rumble is also generally close quarters combat, so that could also be why you kicked so much ass. That being said, I still really want one.

Suros is the king gives you health when you kill enemy's more damage at the end of the clip no recoil I love it my suros. hard light is in a bin somewhere in the tower think the happy robots are using it as a sex toy

Suros is forever that scrubbin bubbles player gun. I tea bag anyone in PvP who has it, And go out of my way to listen for its distinct sound and kill the person who has it And then teabag them furiously. Don't care if someone comes by and kills me while I am in the process of laying my virtual sack on your characters face.

1 ReplyAre you really judging a gun based on one game? After you've played 10, 20 or perhaps more realistically; 50 games you can make a judgement on whether it's better than Suros. There's a reason 99% of players on these forums prefer Suros. It ruins.
