How come xur never sells anything useful. ..?
Been a bunch of junk he's sold in the last few months. Bungie is this some type of cruel inside joke...
EDIT: I'm not saying he should sell the super rare exotics... cough cough, jellyhorn or icebreaker... but for God's sake stop having the same guns/equipment week in and week out. The only thing useful this week is really the heavy. And no exotic engram. Wtf. Guess I can't wait for salad fingers and the iron banner. Yippie

Xur is like welfare. Those unlucky enough to not have the good things(exotics) in life(gh, ib, vex, thunderlord...) can still get the things they need to survive(stay interested in the game). He's not meant to give everyone the 1% guns.

He sold Hardlight upgrade this week and ammo synth which is useful. I have all the exotic gear and weapons I need (besides ghorn).at this point in the game there isn't really anything useful he can sell that people don't already have besides the ghorn or Icebreaker.

1 ReplyThink about it. At the beginning Xur sold items that not many had or exotics that RNG only dropped. Now that we all have played for awhile and gathered most of what exists, thing seem less "cool" or "unique." I use his armor and weapon sales as alternate ways to upgrade. The day he sells Ghorn or Red Death it will be "cool" and "unique."
