Anyone else like the change to the Deathsinger?
I'm happy with it.
The contents of the first chest is just shards and energies, while the Deathsinger cp now gives the previous content of the first chest.

1 ReplyI like that they changed it... But VOG had way more loot drops and chests. Why didn't they just keep things the way they were and add another loot drop for the deathsinger part?!!! Crotas End raid is honestly so short that it gets kinda boring doing it every week.

It's good because it now means killing the death singer serves a purpose. Plus she's not too difficult anyway!

I like it. We get an extra radiant drop and still get the exotic chance later. And now I won't have to deal with my fire team starting a new game with the crota cp when that takes about as long as it should to kill deathsinger

Now that Deathsingers drop the chest contents I would hope that the chance for an exotic is slightly increased but sadly it won't

I love it. I just learned the best way to complete it yesterday and it is the easiest part in the raid (in my opinion)

15 RepliesI'm a little ticked. I got that first chest 3 times each weeks and never got an exotic, now i never will. However, this is probably how it should have been all along. Exotics should drop from raid bosses not some stupid chest that anyone can solo. Just a little ticked at all the people who say they got 2 ghorns, an icebreaker, and a suros from the chest while I get nothing.

Edited by sarskill: 1/10/2015 2:01:02 PMI'm pretty sure this was the plan from the start.Anyone on the fence about the dlc had a pretty juicy carrot dangled in front of them in the form of a chest with a pretty good chance to drop an exotic without having to do anything but jump down a hole a wipe a few times.Seems to me a lot of what bungie is doing is geared towards getting people to buy dlcs.That said,love all the changes

Loving it. Im tired of being so lazy on deathsinger and -blam!-ing up easy. This will make the fight more energetic to get more gear.
