Exotic Bounties, Ice Breaker, and Hawkmoon
Just venting a little. Kinda sucks, having this game since it came out and how I can't get Ice Breaker or Hawkmoon. Those are the only two guns that I can't get as drops that I really want. I've had No Land Beyond and The Last Word drop for me, but I don't play crucible and No Land Beyond is seriously slow. The Exotic Bounties are near impossible for me to complete, because I suck so bad at crucible. Thorn would be really nice to get, but I don't see that ever happening.
If anyone actually reads this, can you tell me something? When running Vanguard ROC, did you play it multiple times in a row before you got an Exotic drop?

Dude, I am bad at PvP. Yet I have gotten through Bad Juju and Thorn in the Crucible. Bad Juju is easy, shoot at anything and everything that has a red health bar and you will get the points for all kills and assists. So run with your team and land shouts on any all enemies and you will nail that quickly enough. Thorn is harder, as you can only get points from Void damage, and lose pints for all deaths. I used a shotgun and LMG for my void damage and ran scout/hand cannon as primary (no void). Took me a week to get this playing 4 - 5 matches a night, which is slow according to a lot of people, but I stuck with it until I completed. In the end I possibly slowed down my progress by getting kills with my Scout Rife?Hand cannon, but I decided that getting 0 points for a kill was better than getting -2 points for a death where I was outranged. If you have those bounties, stick with them. Especially the Thorn, it is worth it

I did one strike totally random got hardlight as a random drop. In my opinion it's totally random and the only reason people do it multiple times in a row is to increase their odds of randomly getting it

I got a totally random exotic (Hardlight) from just running a Roc for marks to max out before reset. Its really really random, i also got my Hawkmoon from a Nightfall strike and the Vex from Atheon on hard despite only joining right at Atheon. Sometimes your luck is good, usually mine stinks lol.

I made post similar to this about how frustrating it was to not get Hawkmoon even with 3 characters tons of grinding etc 12 hours later I got it from a Roc strike. I've gotten more exotics than most (but the same damn weapons over and over and over...) And allot of them are from grinding strikes, and yes, doing strikes consecutively without going to orbit seems to be the way to go for better end game rolls. Also i switch up characters from day to day just in case RNG is different for each toon. Just stick with it, seriously look up my crybaby post from this past week because I was convinced I just wasn't ever going to get it no matter how many strikes I did... Fast forward later that day..Got it 12 hours later! :) and FYI it was definitely worth all the grinding I did to get it! Stop trying to get it and you'll get it lol Best of luck! If you're on PS4 I'm always doing strikes and I'd be happy to do a rapid run through some strikes ;) PSN KevLandry84 -
I got the last word from Roc. I've played it a lot though and about every ten or so I seem to get a legendary engram so that keeps me hungry for more haha

All ive wanted is a legendary helmet cuz i still have a rare, yet i got a legendary engram for gauntlets and i got exotic gauntlets that i already have. It sucks, but u gotta just keep trying i guess. Good luck.

Do vog, I got my ice breaker 2 days go for defeating atheon 2 people got the vex but I wasnt even mad Got the 1 gun iv been after since I got the game
