Yip.
The Vault of Glass was such a unique experience not to be found in any other game, it uses a unique blend of fps/puzzler/teamwork mechanics to form a very difficult raid culminating in Atheons destruction. The set pieces of the raid were beautiful, and the satisfaction of finally opening that door to explore the unknown was definitely a cool feeling.
However.
Crota's End provided a completely different experience, that first drop into the darkness, the panic in our fireteam while my teammates and I are getting swarmed by hundreds of thrall. Running towards the light at the end with the epic music playing, so intense. Adrenalin pumping. Then came the bridge, relying on every single on of your team to pull their weight, this raid was something to be reckoned with, and the way my fireteam cheered when we first dropped Crota to get that one sword hit in, amazing.
I feel the Vault had the whole mystery about it and was very interesting, and was damned difficult to droo Atheon, but the isolated feeling, the addition of the background music and awesome set pieces made Crota's End my favourite of the two.
What about you? And why?

2 RepliesCrotas end had no element of exploration. So much that I would consider it a very linear design with nowhere to go but forward. Though the bridge was the only part that stirred some confusion it is not at all a difficult raid given that most parts in the VoG added inherit danger to every situation and Crotas End not so much.
