Losing content cause I'm not buying DLC
I think this a terrible design of bungie DLC. I bought your game for $60, and now that I didn't give you another $20 cause while I like the game don't think DLC is worth it, I'm losing some of the original content I bought. Very often daily, weekly and Nightfall missions are all behind DLC wall. Now I just went to Xur and found that I can't buy any new exotics without DLC either. While DLC may be adding content for those who bought it, has someone who didn't I'm losing some of the game I already bought, I think this is a terrible practice and more people should be out raged. It's been 6 months and I'm being left behind and having content cut.

1 ReplyYou should probably make an example because I can't believe how stupid people can be. It feels like half of them didn't even read your post. I bought the dlc but it's wrong for people to get locked out of the end game content that you had already paid for.

At least blizzard doesn't take away content when they come out with an update. They just listen to the loudest whiners and give what the want and then nerf the best class in the game.

18 Repliesthe dailies nightfall and weeklies are all EVENTS not content... if the CONTENT of those events are dlc items you should not get to play them

so you hear about all the new DLC they are coming out with this year? 3 new DLC and a bigger expansion! better start finding new games to play.

And if they didn't put DLC missions in the rotation, the people who bought it will be pretty much screwed over since there's no reason to play just the missions more than once.

Game modes are not Content. You use Content in game modes. The Nightfall and Heroic are game modes, not content. In games like BF, CoD, Halo and many others... if you are on a server and a map(content) comes up in rotation that you do not own, you are removed from the server. You can then rejoin that server once content you own comes back up in rotation. Same here. The fact that Bungie only has one server for the Nightfall and Heroic is irrelevant. The content you paid for will come back around at some point, you just can't play the mode if you don't own the content in rotation. When it does, you can play that mode again..but you are not being locked out of your content it's still there.

I was able to get the disc copy of the Game on Nov 27th (15$ at the local Wal-mart Black Friday one hour sale) and then D/L the expansion pass (30$) for a total of 45.00 USD. So I paid 15.00 less than you and it looks like I wont have to even worry about this issue until Comet (or Cupid or whatever...)
