ROC drops nerfed?
When the DLC dropped the ROCs were actually fun because you had the very likely chance that if you played for 2 hours you'd get a legendary engram, now there's hardly any blues even, anyone else notice this?

Rng is rng. I just picked up the DLC last week and I've had great luck with purple engrams in the ROC playlist. It's just luck sadly.

I see a rise actually once I maxed my vanguard marks this week, I got 3 legendary engrams back to back. Even though they turned into to crap legendary guns. I usually avg a legendary every 5th game.

Luck seems to alternate between my three characters. A few days ago, I was helping a new guy with the level 8 Sepkis strike and I was basically soloing it to reap experience for him. We were at the Devil Walker part, and in that entire mob of enemies, two legendary engrams dropped. One primary, one chest. That has NEVER happened to me before. Of course the primary turned to energies, but the chest was for my titan. I was pleased.

In 3 days of ROC strikes I've gotten a legendary ship and one legendary engram. (After maxing three characters worth of vanguard marks for the week.) I definitely feel like drops have decreased since DLC launch.

I still get lots of legendaries and even a few exotics from roc strikes. Just got a hard light 2.0 yesterday and 3 legendary engrams the day before and I only play for an hour at a time

I'm getting so -blam!-ing sick of this RNG bullshit. Roc strikes 8hrs a day all weekend and just blue after blue after blue engrams. I mean what the -blam!-ing -blam!-. And before you ask yes I'am very butthurt, but I shall not cry.

I finally got some luck from ROC strikes yesterday. Got 2 legendary gauntlet engrams. I have both of the hunter exotics and the raid gauntlets so it was kind of the worst possible legendary I could have gotten. Not to worry, they both turned into titan gauntlets, and subsequently shards (to add to my pile). Then I got a legendary [b]special[/b] weapon engram, which turned into universal remote, a [b]primary[/b] which I'll never use over anything I already have. My friend got yet another gjallarhorn. Even when my luck is great it still stinks.

Nightfall completed - gen one legendary sniper as a reward. Weekly completed - coins two blues. CE- both chests and both loot points before Crota- shards. VOG competed - shards at every boss and chest. Cryptard ranked four times- blues. Vanguard playlist maxed out (100 marks) around 60%pre rolled blue shite of no use to me the renaming 40%decoded into worthless ble shite with terrible light levels. 10 or so crucible matches around 6 or 7 gave me no reward at all the rest pre rolled shite and class items. It seems ALL drops have been nerfed since the DLC as a nightfall would 2 out of three times reward an exotic, you had perhaps 10% chance of getting a legendary engram at some point in a strike.

Another player on the fire team on New Year's Eve got MIDA. Since then, pretty much nothing (for myself or anyone on the fire team) despite maxing marks with one class and going half way or so with a second. Or maybe RNGesus just doesn't love me anymore.

No. I played for 2 hours Friday and got a legendary engram every ROC. No joke. My friend was becoming furious. One ROC I managed two. Played for an hour last night and got two. One didn't show as me receiving anything it just showed it after the game. I didn't get a damn thing worth keeping from any of them unfortunately but the drop rate definitely isn't lower.

Legendary and a plan c yesterday in about 1.5-2 hours. Seems to go in waves, hit a dry spell for a while, then a really good patch

Got a Plan C in a drop, another fusion rifle I will never use, it's my second one too! This is another reason for player trading!

Had two legendaries yesterday from 2hrs of playing roc. Today saw someone get hardlight in my second one.

2 RepliesI have not received a legendary engram from ROCs ever, I cannot believe I am saying this but, I hope it is just RNG hating me and not nerfing. Because other than marks and glimmer farming, ROCs have been useless to me.

The first one I did last night one guy got a multi tool and the other got a gjallarhorn. I got two blue engrams. Rng is totally fair lol
