John 1:17 NKJV
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
The law was harsh and quite honestly hard to live by, as a result every year a lamb had to be slain because we weren't given a permanent sacrifice (couldn't think of another way to say that). But eventually Christ was born and he brought truth to this world, he worked miracles not for his glory but for His glory, Gods glory. He showed grace to a woman who was to be stoned to death for all of his goodness he was put to the cross, struck with whips bashed, mocked, spit on, nailed to a cross for our salvation and at the cross where he died is where life began and mercy and grace. Three days later he rose from the grave defeating death, he continued his ministry for a while longer until ascending to heaven and there he was justified in Spirit.
If we want grace that only God can give us (and let me say it's real and it is awesome) we have to seek His spirit through repentance and baptism.

1 Reply"Love is one of the most intense feelings felt by man; another is hate. Forcing yourself to feel indiscriminate love is very unnatural. If you try to love everyone you only lessen your feelings for those who deserve your love. Repressed hatred can lead to many physical and emotional aliments. By learning to release your hatred towards those who deserve it, you cleanse yourself of these malignant emotions and need not take your pent-up hatred out on your loved ones." -Satanic Bible

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Basically, The Bible is saying that The Bible is probably false.
I'm aware the line is 'This is Spartan-117[...]' but I'm pretty sure the line 'John-117' is never used aloud in the entire series.
2 RepliesAmen bro. There are three baptisms. The one I believe you're referring to is the baptism of repentance/Christ. However, water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit are also pretty awesome.

Hello again, this is one if the only verses I ever read, well for obvious reasons but any ways I'm glad you post these. They remind me we live in a multicultural world and how for small instances these cultures set aside differences and make peace. Though it's short lived I like to think that one day we will all exept each other and be truly a peaceful world.
