I remember when TDB came out, I did all the missions, levelled up my gear, then as a pasty faced 31 I entered into Crotas End, Not knowing what to expect. Many many hours and a broken controller later. I emerged, with a song of Ir Yut, a badass shader and an emblem I instantly put on, with such pride. Being one of the first 756 groups to kill Crota in the first week felt pretty special. Especially landing the final blow with the sword for the first time. Several clears later, i'm now skilled in all roles and ready for hard mode. Move on a few weeks, and there has been over 250,000 kills. Whats changed? Someone found a way to cheat, through every part. So people can now complete it, who don't have the skill to finish it, and more importantly don't have the patience to learn and improve. My beloved emblem and shader are now useless, I used to wear them with pride. And now you cheaters have devalued them completely. I can no longer tell if someone is good enough to complete the raid. And now I can't even find a group. I have spent the last 2 hours on LFG just trying to find a group to do a fresh run, Every single group i've spoken to have been cheating. Which leaves players like me struggling to find like minded players. We are definitely a minority. And what's worse, you will hurt us again when this all gets patched. If you had been doing it properly, you would have built up and learned the skill and be ready to teabag Crota on hard, whatever he threw at us. Instead there will be players with all the gear, who have no idea what to do to legitimately complete it, and will have never done so. Call it cheese, call it what you want. There is no other way to say it, it's cheating. And it will ultimately harm the community as a whole in the long run. /Rant *EDIT* Please "like this post so hopefully someone at Bungie can see how bad the problem is. *EDIT2* The problem isn't that people haven't worked as hard as the people that play legitimately, and get the same gear. The issue is that players that want to play properly are a minority. And it's incredibly hard to find 5 others that want to play it properly also. *Edit3* I have no problem teaching people how to do the raid, so they can change their ways.
