Legendary engrams
I have tried numerous locations of farming for hours and I can't get legendaries where do I go?

I am becoming more of e believer that they are XP based. Whenever my next vanguard rank gets between halfway and 3/4 to the next rank, out of the blue a Legendary engram will drop. The drop will happen in a strike, daily, story, patrol, anywhere. It has been pretty consistent between all 3 of my characters. I haven't been able to identify the trigger yet, but I do have a fair idea when one is going to drop. Two nights ago my Hunter got one in a strike. Yesterday, my Warlock got one in a Patrol. My Titan should be due in a couple of days.

Run the ROC strike list, I have received countless legs and got the plan c, icebreaker (again), suros and red death just from those strikes.

Just go to roc strikes and grind in 10 strikes u have purple engrams

4 Repliesif you don't have the DLC you are shit out of luck. Bungie reduced the drop rate so that you get one every few thousand kills at most. the only way to get them in PVE is ROC strikes... in short Bungie are a bunch of pricks intent on driving away anyone who does not bend over and pay them whatever monies they demand.

6 RepliesIt's all RNG based so there is no guarantee. I would suggest grinding out ROC strikes for your best chance while still making progress with your vanguard marks.
