So I was doing normal raid helping my level 24 friend doing it I'm a level 30 warlock and the other two were 32 and the rest were 29 and 26. So one 32 say it the beginning al right guys listen to me I know everything I like OK whatever. My level 24 friend came down to get ammo and the level 32 guy freaked out and said listen to me! I've done this raid a lot and very experience. So I'm like wtf and told him dude chill out he has never done the raid and just got the game on Christmas and the 32 proceeds to say that he need to get better. At the templars I told them I should pick up the relic cause the 32s have good weapons and the asshole 32 said no were 32 were better. So I'm like I'm lv 30 and experience with the relic you guys have good weapons to kill the templar. That's when the 32 said I'm better cause I'm 32 I'm two level above you and done this raid like 100 times just listen to us. The rest of the raid I muted them. Is this how all lv 32 are?
Just to let you know they left us after templar I had to navigate both the lower levels down the chest caves while they ran straight to the exotic chest after we got that exotic chest they ran Straight out of the gorgon labyrinth without helping the lower levels I had to do I damn near carried them they wouldn't even revive those two lower players and they had no intention of helping us

Because some PEOPLE are assholes. Some level 10s are assholes. Some 12 year olds playing Minecraft are assholes. Some old people with 20 grandkids are assholes. Some teachers are assholes. Some doctors are assholes. Some people who work at 7-11 are assholes. You might be an asshole. I might be an asshole. Or maybe we're not. But some people are.

Were you around when all level 30's were assholes and LVL 29's were very bitter? You would see a lot of this elitist behavior in the forums and people (mainly 29's) asking for LVL 30 only players to help carry them through the VoG raids... It was narcissism at its finest... Most of those 30's got a taste of their own medicine when they couldn't get off the struggle bus and keep falling short of hitting 32. Hopefully the tide has turned and you see more helpful high level people, I still see 31's and 32's constantly sucking at ROC strikes and in the new and old raids. I did VoG with some 31's the other night and they had never ran it on HM... I think a good way of making people earn their level (for the next DLC) is to make it to where you can only buy LVL 33 gear if you're a 32 first. This way people will need to be efficient at raiding before jumping to such a high level without skills.

Those are the type of people that I just kick from the fire team; that and the people who do not like to take the raid seriously, and blame others for their deaths. I use my experience as a "guideline" to those of lesser experience, not a "slave whip".
-
Why does a lot of this sound fabricated? Pretty certain you were doing a shitty job and you're trying to twist it around to make the 32 sound bad...
-
Naw not all of us I enjoy helping others. As a matter of fact add SUPER_ASSASSINS if you guys need some help.
-
Sounds more like they were just idiots.

I'm a 32 and I'm an asshole. Hi.

I've only played with a few 32's, I haven't touched Crota's End yet. I would assume that most of them enjoy playing the game, and are willing to help lower-level players experience the game too. With that being said, a level 32 Titan abandoned our ROC Summoning Pits strike to run halfway around the Hellmouth for a public event, and his lvl 30 friend went with him, in the middle of the defend sequence while the runes are decoding. When he was done with the public event, he came back on his Tumbler and spent the rest of the defend sequence trying to run me into a wall. Continued to do so after we finished there and ran to the room with the normal ogre. Did not stop until the ogre managed to blow up his sparrow. On the plus side, he was terrible at driving and failed to kill me. I got a good laugh out of running down the long hallways and jumping out of his way when he tried to slam into me. I guess he forgot sparrows are massive green dots on your radar.

3 RepliesI was doing roc strikes yesterday and every 32 i grouped with was 100% useless and needed to be carried throughout. All those deaths >.<
-
1 ReplyI was a asshole before I got lvl 32.
-
4 RepliesI'm 32 and I love helping take people's virginity I'll show you the ways of the vog where to move what to do ;) but seriously I love helping people through and I hate when guys only will take the highest level players I'll walk a new 24 through the raid I'll take a 28 into nightfall

The asshole thirty two's are just people with no life (12+) days played and have nothing better to do other than making other people in Destiny feel worse than them. They're the kinds of people who get bullied in school. It's their way of feeling powerful.

Edited by Un1337ninj4: 1/4/2015 6:20:54 PMWhen you're so badass you can cheese and get end-game gear with no effort ofcourse you're going to feel like a god among men... Until you realize they're not, but lo&behold it was your fault they died, they never die without perfectly good reason. It's impossibru to find a dedicated team on the '60, I don't know if it's a demographic of those with lower pay but it's about to convince me to upgrade.

I've come across many assholes, they just want to show off and think they're better but they're not. Most times when I'm doing Strikes with a friend of mine there's an asshole who thinks he's good so he speedruns charge into the enemy and die multiple times, me and my friend we decide to not go and revive those assholes, they then rage quit and send love mail to us. They then find a new strike and so on...

Those guys were asshats at Level 5. They were asshats at level 20. They are asshats Level 32. And they will be asshats at Level 34. Some people are just asshats. Unfortunately, that's just kinda the way it is.
-
Lvl 32 here not an asshole always help out when I'm bored I've met a lot off laid back people that way I play more with randoms then my own actual friends
-
You low level peasants
-
2 RepliesWhy the -blam!- is your friend doing the raid at 24? Tell him to level his ass up so no one has to carry him through everything.
-
I'm level 32 and just don't like randoms all too much. Nothing personal but my experience with random people in this game is usually negative.
-
Most 32s think that they are better then us because they have no life and delete characters to get to 32. How much do you wanna bet that scrub never even touched the vault before? If he had, then he would be playing on hard, wouldn't he
-
Im a level 32 and im not an asshole i love helping people with raids helping them find the right perks for their play style teaching them tricks on how to beat stuff easier and all that stuff
-
your true question here is simply "why are some people assholes?" Or perhaps you wanna be asking instead, "why are the assholes the ones who get lucky with loot?" There are plenty of nice and helpful 32 players but we dont help as much, in certain cases, due to bad experience with others
-
Some people are just douchebags
-
2 RepliesMost 32s have three of the same character anyways. But regardless, just because you invest 10+ hours everyday into this game is no reason to treat people with lives and jobs poorly!
-
1 ReplyWhy do some people hate tomatoes but like ketchup? Why do some people hate mashed potatoes but love French fries (chips)? PSA: Level 32s who are assholes were assholes before they turned level 32. Level no longer has any meaning to me. I had three different classes at level 30 before the DLC hit. You know what that meant after the expansion? Jack shit. Now I will either make 32 or I won't. I'll be 33 when house of wolves releases though!

Lol...bow down peasant...
