What Did I Do Wrong?!
Okay so I have finally reached rank 30 so that I can do the hard mode raid and not die from just one shot. So I gathered a few people, and we did the normal raid on VOG. I came out with a total of 6 ascendant shards and chatterwhite. Then, a few hours later, I got some more friends and we did the raid on hard mode. On EVERY CHEST, I got ascendant shards. For the templar, I got ascendant shards. For EVERYTHING, I got ascendant shards. And finally, in the end we killed Atheon and I got more ascendant shards and the timebreaker.... Is their something Im doing wrong here? I guess I shouldnt be too terribly ungrateful considering All those shards got me to 31. But it REALLY pissed me off. All my friends got Vision of Confluence, Mythoclast, and one of my friends got his second gjallahorn... Idk. If I did something wrong I'd love to hear what it is.

Edit : Alright so apparently its just the RNGDevil -blam!-ing me over. Thats a terrible feeling. Well thanks for explaining everyone. :)

Also, don't do normal and hard VoG. Only do hard. You will get double hard mode drops rather than one hard mode drop and one normal drop for twice the time investment

2 RepliesThe only thing you are doing wrong is trying to understand RNG and find a "reason". There is no reason, nothing you are doing. It is simply the way this game is. One day it rains purple, the next its all digital dick-punches.

sounds pretty normal. Try sacrificing some kind of animal. I think RNGesus likes goats this week. All kidding, but ya, thats normal. You are doing nothing wrong. Wait till you get your 10th chatterwhite. I have gotten almost as many energies from breaking down found verdicts than any were else in the game.

You're not the only one who get crapped on from raid drops. The only raid weapon I've ever had drop for me is Found Verdict (4 times now). I've gotten one piece of old raid gear (after the DLC dropped), a bunch of Chatterwhite and the rest has been nothing but shards and energy.
