I would pay up to $50 for a Gjallarhorn at this point.
I would spend actual money, just to have it.
Seriously, screw the coins. Not complaining, but there should be a specific way to earn a specific weapon..
I have looted a disgusting amount of nightfall's, raids, and chests..
Have literally obtained every exotic weapon in this game, one way or another.
This weapon has never dropped for me, as you can obviously tell.
This has been really the only exotic I have wanted, and this random number generator is breaking my back and pissing on it.
Not because it's powerful either, I just love rockets and this one looks awesome. Not to mention wolf pack rounds..
Do the right thing Bungie, it will not be game breaking if sold.

You do realize if they started selling weapons for money it would absolutely ruin this game... You're playing right into their hand by posting this. This company wants nothing more than money for their pixels. There is a reason this game was voted most overhyped game of the year as well as biggest let down. Just keep your head down and keep moving. You'll eventually get gjallahorn to drop. And stop throwing the word "earned" around. If you bought the game you've earned the right to all items included in the game.

I'm in the same boat. Been playing since midnight launch, skipped it that week it was sold because "I'm an LMG guy", and it's just never dropped for me. I've got multiples of every other exotic, including the elusive Thunderlord, but I've never gotten the Ghorn. I'm hoping they sell it next week, the second weekend for the Christmas noobs, which would be the same week it sold for the original people. I don't even think id use it outside of raids, but id love to have it for raids. Makes me sad

All in all I would love to pay for a vex...if I was the only person who could. Lol. If you let everyone do it the items become worthless.

...And THIS is why trading can never happen. Sharks in the water would be making all sorts of side sales for real cash, and then we'd see kids basically buying pre-made custom load outs from other players. I feel your pain, but even mentioning cash as an option is a slippery slope. Perhaps an RNG system that takes into account how many Raids, strikes, and PvP matches a player runs and increases/decreases exotic probability accordingly? You out there, DeeJ? :)

The truth was my first exotic. Currently I have 5, I've dismantled 3 or 4. I get 1 at least every other week XD
