34 (now 40) raids later...
Feels like all those little one liners on SpongeBob where the French voice says (x amount of hours later). Anyway, over a span of three characters I've completed the hard raid 34 times. Haven't gotten a single Mythoclast. I'm no math major or anything, but I'm fairly certain out of all those raids, it should have dropped at least one time for me, even if the drop rate is insanely low. Why is it my friends have three to four of them easily, and I still have zero? Frustration is an understatement. I have enough hard raid ships to choke a horse. It's pretty much an insult at this point.
Also...
Bungie has admitted that the loot distribution system for the Vault of Glass raid is flawed, they said it themselves when they talked about the new raid's distribution system. So it's not like this isn't a prevalent issue.

Take comfort in the fact that it's literally a horrible weapon. I dropped one after 20-something raids and after 5 minutes of playing with it, I haven't wanted to use it again.

7 RepliesYou probably have Gjallahorn or Hard Light? I've found 6 Mythoclasts, in about 9 hard raids between my characters. I've actually found at LEAST 4 of all the RNG exotic weapons, but never once gotten Hard Light or Gjallahorn.

4 RepliesHey man, I was on here last week talking about the same thing, with over 30 completions, still no Vex. Well this week, after completing the VoG 3 more times, still no vex. But I got my 17th timebreaker, 15th helm, and 11th aspect of glass.... wow so amazing! I am going to come back to this thread every week after my 3 completions of VoG just to show how -blam!-ing broken this Vex drop is.... Oh, and that dude who had Vex drop for him 10 times, he got it 2 more times. Again, I am fully convinced that the way Vex is rolled, it is much more probable that it will drop for someone who already has it.....

14 RepliesIf only at the end you could decline a reward and allow the Fireteam to claim it by Auction. Or if it's declined, RNG rerolls excluding the first target. The new person either accepts it or it's gone. I have had 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8...9 Atheon's Epilogue. I stopped the count of Chatterwhite after I got to 16. No Vex No Foil And only in the last week have I actually been lucky enough for raid gear over 3 characters. 3 chests , 2 Warlock 1 boots 1 gauntlets 1 helm

Only the AVERAGE player gets every say hundred RNG rolls a mythoclast. It's standard probability theory! There is no guaranty you will get a mythoclast even after thousand raids! That's why pure RNG is retarded game design. At least you have to add TRADE to make goods available for those 'unlucky' enough to have that happen.

6 RepliesThe loot system in general is flawed. It's not just the raid. How can you be okay the raid on hard at level 30 and still have uncommon orbs from when you kill a level 30? The loot system is purely random and it sucks. Along with the crucible. How can the first place person recieve nothing and the last place person get rewards it doesn't make sense. Bungie has some serious changes to do before I'm thoroughly impressed with this game.

9 RepliesThe Vault of Glass is a purely random loot design. They changed the way they handled the new raid to take into account what you already got, to give people a better chance at the gear they haven't gotten. So in other words, they heard us, and listened, you can't be mad at that.

1 ReplyBro I was just like you. I had 3 characters and did the raid 30 something times. I might've hit 40 before I got it. I'd like to say don't worry you'll get it but idk the rng is so messed up in this game. I think they should increase your chances of getting it every time you complete it
