56 RepliesIt's simple. They said before the game released that they wanted exotic and legendary gear to feel special. They wanted gear to "tell a story". They wanted you to look at another player and say "wow, where did you get that?". Then they offer an item vendor that I'm sure will rotate through almost every exotic item in the game. So instead of "wow, where did you get that?" you already know exactly where they got it each week. See that guy running around with a Suros this week? He probably bought it. All those people using fully upgraded Gjallarhorns in PvP? I bet I know where they got those... I wouldn't be surprised if he sells Thorn next weekend... just to make the ones that were earned by all of the people suffering through to Xyor completely meaningless. And that's what you're doing by making it so that everyone can simply purchase gear. You're making it meaningless for anyone who actually earned it through time and triumph. The people against this way of thinking call us "babies"... but who is the bigger baby? The one crying about the item they were granted by chance for playing the game not being special anymore? Or is it the one crying about not having a special gun that some other guy has? Hell, why do they even have a rotating stock for him? May as well just put all of the exotics on there at the same time. Then everyone could have exactly what they want within the next two weeks anyway.

why, 23 strange coins is still a B&&*ch to get, I tried all last week trying to get 23 coins and only got 18.most casual wont really bother getting those strange coins currently using the shingen-e and i am -blam!-ing ish up with that weapon

4 RepliesSo this is will kick xurs ass You can farm on the first moon mission (level 20 mode is best): the dark beyond. Go to the cutscene where you find the dead guardian and then all those thralls, a couple acolytes, and a yellow-class knight, kill everything except the knight and then let it kill you. After that you will respawn and then you can do it all again! Perks of this include: -short amount of time compared to strikes and the raid (up to 30 engrams an hour) -lots of loot to disassemble for parts -occasional exotics (got about 5 in a week) -high glimmer boost -best place for overcharge and hive killing bounties -STRANGE COINS! Using this method I got hawkmoon the last word, and many other good loots so enjoy!

18 RepliesI had mine since Day 3. I wish Xûr wasn't even in the game, it makes the exotics he sells feel worthless since you actually got lucky enough to get one on your own. And then the next guy can replicate you just by waiting for the weekend.

I have turned in countless bounties and yet to receive and exotic bounty. I'm so happy he was selling Suros today, I finally have an exotic gun and I had to work for my coins. You and any other people complaining about how it's "not rare anymore" you wouldn't be saying that if you were unlucky like most of us. Douche

22 RepliesThe funny thing is I have seen only 2 other warlocks with Sunbreaker gauntlets. I'm guessing because a lot of people didn't buy it in fear of everyone having it. Me personally I don't care if a lot of people have it. It help me out with my sunsinger class a lot especially during raid.

4 RepliesAm I sad my Helm of Saint can be gotten easily now when I got lucky and found it the first week? No I'm happy. More Titans will be dropping more shields more often without the first shield buff. That means more Shield of Light/Weapons of Light buffs for everyone. If I could give it away I would give away my Universal Remote/Monte Carlo/All exoitcs for other classes I have. Why? I want to help them do better so I can do better. This is a team play game.

Sure Bungie could have made it so Xur never existed but then the chances of players getting Exotics from drops or rewards would increase a significant amount because as it is Exotics are only given out through drops or rewards by a tiny percent. Between my 3 characters I have over 100 hours played and haven't gotten any Exotics from drops or rewards. The exotics I own are from Bounties and Xur. I'm glad Xur is available because he gives the players who get screwed over from RNG a chance to get Exotic items and he encourages players to keep playing the game. If you crybabies were in my position you would not be complaining about Xur. It's always gotta be the people who got a lucky RNG Exotic who cry about Xur ruining the game.
