Do you guys remember being excited about Xur!?
I’m an OG D1 player and I actually remember some guardians and myself staying up late waiting on Xur to see what he was bringing this week. Good times.

When things were much harder to obtain xur was critical and i missed the Gally when he had in like week 2 in d1, i didn't get it to drop till almost the end. Now xur is mostly for new players trying to catch up

I remember taking a moment at work to check “where is Xur” and then seeing what he had. Some days I couldn’t wait to get home. It was definitely a good part of the game.

I used to set an alarm for 3am, his arrival time for my time zone, just to see what he was selling. Then go back to bed.

I remember being excited every Fri morning and then being disappointed about 5 mins after reset lol, -blam!- never had what I wanted.

Good times.[/quote] Only because loot wasn’t handed out. Why do I need xur when every Exotic since shadowkeep has been a quest or season pass exotic. Monte Carlo was the last random drop exotic lmao. Destiny 1 handled loot so much better than Destiny 2 ever has.

I remember being excited in the early D1 days…. First exotic purchased from squidface was Red Death. That was back when you could only get an exotic some weeks through Xur. RNG was certainly different back then….

I still remember seeing xur the 2nd week selling ghally and thought to myself, who would spend all those coins for a heavy slot exotic. I wanted a primary exotic first like a dingus

Yes I remember when all guns were valid in normal gameplay. Also when rare guns were rare even after Xur sold for that week. Also remember when most vendors were useful. Now all vendors are all used car salesmen whom regularly promote lemons. Pray Bungie gods don’t strike again.

Sucks that the Tiered weapon system kinda made Xur pointless. Now that he has chances to come with Adept weapons an Adepts are pointless now :/

Same, my friends and I did this on the reg, Thurs all nighters at D1, stacking 3 of coin like cordwood throughthe week ... now D1 still thrives while D2 is in the shi-er
