So the Expansions I bought on Steam do not allow access to two of the dungeons that currently drop upgrades?
There are two dungeons linked to the Witch Queen dungeon key, and two to the Lightfall one.
- Duality & Spire of the Watcher,
- Ghosts of the Deep & Warlord's Ruin.
The keys are Eververse-only at the moment and can't be purchased through any bundle currently on Steam.
What content, if any did I unlock then when I bought the expansions?
The Witch Queen expansion gives you access to The Witch Queen campaign, the Wellspring activity, related exotic missions like Parasite and the exotic Glaives, access to Witch Queen-era exotic gear pieces, Nightfall access for The Lightblade and Birthplace of the Vile, access to the Vow of the Disciple raid.
Lightfall gives you the Lightfall campaign, related exotic missions like Deterministic Chaos and Final Warning, access to Lightfall-era exotic gear pieces, access to the Strand subclass, Nightfall access to Hypernet Current, access to the Root of Nightmares raid.
Back in the day, the EDZ existed and I believe I could enter all the Dungeons in the EDZ, but they seem to be "gone" now. Now the Dungeon in the EDZ Warlord's Ruin which seems to also requires a key, that costs on top of the Lightfall Expansion?
New content often gets added to old locations, EDZ has never had any Dungeons until Warlord's Ruin was added to it last season. Yes, access to Lightfall and Witch Queen's dungeons (as above) are granted solely through the respective Dungeon Keys.
So to be clear, when the support page says keys can be "acquired from a Destiny Expansion bundle" it should say from a "Deluxe Edition Expansion Bundle" which incidentally is not for sale on steam anymore, or if so I can' t find it?
I looked at the page and what I see is 'Dungeon Keys are included in the Deluxe Edition of an expansion, and can also be purchased separately in the Eververse store', while I agree that it is confusing to mention 'are included' for editions that are no longer available, it still stands to say that buying an edition that is not marked as being 'deluxe' will not give the keys. So I am not sure if I agree that the help page wording is misleading, that page itself does not imply that the keys should have been given from a standard edition purchase.
Is there a chart somewhere that shows what needs bought to access which content? These double-locks are frustrating and deluxe editions are not longer available. If I request refunds for the "misleading" the Expansions I "thought "I bought "Witch Queen" and "Lightfall" do the Eververse keys still allow access to these dungeons respectively, or is both needed to open them?
Witch Queen's key will give access to two dungeons, Lightfall's key will give access to another two, you don't need to own them both.
Finally, where do I share my "deceptive" / "confusing" practice concerns with Bungie direct so I don't have to post on a public forum for help, thanks.
If you don't want to post it in #feedback you'd have to try something like Twitter. Bungie doesn't have a direct contact channel. While I don't believe the help page is misleading, I do acknowledge that if you get an in-game message saying 'Lightfall required', it should be mentioning the key upfront, for people who don't even know what that even is. I have mentioned this in the place I do have to pass these things along.

EckyThump, Thanks for your very clear response and outlying what is included with an Expansion and what is an "additional purchase." I think the underlying issue is when I played Destiny 2, all the dungeons in a DLC were included in the DLC without a separate purchase. I can't say 100% that before I bought the Expansions that it said exactly "Lightfall is required" it could have been "Lightfall Dungeon Key is required" which for me sure seemed like buying an Expansion would have that key then when that didn't work, I started trying to figure out why and never came to a clear answer. If Deluxe Editions and Normal Editions were on Steam, indicated one had more content it would have been helpful. For Steam users or returning users, indicating on Steam that an Expansion does not include all the content "related" to that expansion and an additional purchase is necessary to access that content via the Eververse would help. Likewise, knowing if they need to have BOTH the Expansion AND the Key to access the Dungeons, or if just the "Key" is enough would also help. I'm still not sure if the Expansion is necessary, or just the Key or both to access these dungeons with Pinnacle Gear for the current DLC. Quite frankly I'm just after gearing up and exploring new content with folks online, old dungeons probably have longer "queues" unless in rotation for "upgrades / pinnacle drops" so not the allure they once had. Regardless, thanks for your clarification and time. I hope Bungie can work to make this more clear for new and returning players and appreciate you passing information along through whatever internal channels you have.
