The Community Needs to Stop asking Bungie to Fix PVP. Why?
Everyone, Bungie has Abandoned PVP in Destiny 2 in favor for Marathon. They dont give a Hoot about PVP. With the Failure of Delivering 1 Trials Set for 2023, that with the Full amount of Neglect Bungie is giving PVP(its the only thing Bungie is giving PVP). Haven't You all noticed that Calls for Gambit to be fixed are gone or non existent?
No New:
Maps
Armor
Weapons(Reskins dont count)
Modes
At this point we are just talking to a brick wall, and nothing will happen. No change, nothing New, No Fix. We are just wasting our Breath. And if it just so happens a PVP Dev comes nocking around and See's this, Prove me wrong.

8 RepliesIt’s actually worse than that. Remember when Eververse came out in D1 and people defended it saying it would allow Bungie to deliver more content? So not only are they are not, they are taking Destiny dollars to create a new game lol.

And if it just so happens a PVP Dev comes nocking around and See's this, Prove me wrong.[/quote] PvP has the fundamental flaw of the people who play it, Destiny has such a unique PvP sphere that almost all top players can not play a different game, or people who dedicate themselves to Destiny PvP cant play others. The reason being is every dedicated PvP game has SBMM because thats the most fair way of playing a game and these Destiny PvP players just wanna stomp and not have to “sweat” everygame. Destiny PvP will never be stable just because of the people who play it, literally had a friend tell me how every PvP game sucks because they use SBMM and he ONLY plays PvP

1 ReplyDude, We get new Crucible content every season. So I get your frustration but maybe you should focus on the positive side. The ritual weapon has a new skin every season. I say hunker down, get focused and get that new content every season. # PvP

7 RepliesI have no desire to argue your points as I don't play much PvP, but I do have a question. How many 'new' modes can possibly be implemented that revolve around the simple goal of 'Kill the enemy team?' I'm honestly asking, not trying to mock you or any PvP mains.

Honest opinion just get Bungie to undo every PvP nerf to overpowered abilities and exotic combos then leave PvP alone. each time we get a new ability or exotic someone finds a way to gain an unfair advantage so rather than wasting more time doing more important things just let PvP descend in to absolute chaos Bungie has never cared about PvP since Forsaken so why use up resources that could be fixed just by opening up pandora's box.

It is all but confirmed by Bungie that they're not going to improve PvP after they stated their PvP team was allocated to Marathon. I would have liked to have seen dedicated servers, a new map every season and better balancing by Bungie in D2 but alas.
