Many streamers only play with subs, that is a basic function of twitch. These streamers are again paid by twitch, twitch gets a portion of all revenues.
Please check your facts and read a book or two. There is a HUGE difference between charging someone directly for a carry, and only offering lobby spots to subs.
^That rule applies to EVERY activity most of the time, not just their carry services. I

I stream over Twitch. You are objectively wrong. You don't get any payments until you have accumulated $100 in subscriptions. So, no. Twitch is NOT paying you. You are just gated until you get a certain amount of money. If you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about maybe you should just shut up. Again, if they are only offering carries to subscribers then it is now a paid service.

Twitch is the one paying out the streamers for using the medium of their service and making them past a certain amount of money. And the fact that you think streamers do no damage to the player population is one of the dumbest things I've ever see someone say on this forum. Streamers are the reason SBMM was removed in 2020 which Bungie admitted did a lot of damage to the game. Streamers are the reason exotics and subclasses get nerfed even when it's not needed. Do this forum and the rest of the world a favor and just shut up until you decide to correct your ignorance.
