Who's bright idea was it to put 1 gun as the entire loot pool in a game mode for a full season?
The same gun rewarded after every game, in a game you want people to grind, is mindnumbingly boring
I just got 2 after 1 game, 1 after every other game, I've got like 40 riptides in 40 games, Scorched = riptide, Control = riptide, Banner = riptide
Added: Pretty sure bungie are trolling me now, seems im consistently getting 2 riptides most games

It has a higher drop rate post match because that’s the only way it can be obtained. Next season there will be a new one and the fusion will go into the crucible engrams. It’s the best pve fusion, so there’s not much of a reason to consoling about it dropping a lot.

People can rip on crucible rewards all they like but its got 2 top tier PvE weapons, Riptide & Frozen Orbit. Sure you get [b]ALOT[/b] of Riptides but Im still chasing that auto-loading, vorpal, accelerated coils, and charge time MW one.

Ironically I’ve deleted almost every single riptide that has dropped for me. I’ve kept one, that had auto loading holster and chill clip. I have yet to see one with those perks and a charge time masterwork. Hell, I’ve deleted over 50 of them and have never had one drop with a charge time masterwork. I’ve seen one with it, so it does exist, but seriously after 50 of them i should have at least gotten one with a charge time masterwork.

So, what is so bad about all of the Riptide drops? It's the only worthwhile gun in the crucible loot pool, and even if you already have a dozen god rolls you can still dismantle them for a bunch of legendary shards.

I usually just check them before I dismantle. I got a 3 perk 3rd column, 2 perk 4th column roll today. Didnt even know that was possible.

Honestly I think Gambit,Vanguard and Crucible loot pools should go back to the way it was before Beyond light where they all had several weapons in their respective loot pools,I personaly think larger loot pools are better but that's just me.

Why complain about loot? At least they made stuff from playlistsd drop now. 2 seasons ago the droprate was like 2%.
