5 RepliesBeen gaming since the 70’s. Spent money on games but never spent a cent on cosmetics or any microtransactions. I call them digital trash. I bought games but never trash. That’s why they called it trash!😂😂😂

2 RepliesTWABs typically fall into three types. The 'Greedy' TWABs where Bungo set out how they are hoping to fleece morons even further. The 'Lazy' TWABs where Bungo show off how lazy they have been, I mean, what recycled crap they will be releasing soon, I mean what 'new' stuff they have been working on. The 'WTF' TWABs where Bungo tell us about baffling and idiotic decisions they have made for the game's 'benefit'. There is often some overlap. Especially with 'Lazy' and 'Greedy' TWABs.

1 ReplyEdited by Karma Kills You: 7/16/2022 4:44:23 AMBut its free to play 🤣

13 RepliesGood think I am sitting on 50k bright dust! 💸💸💸
-
2 RepliesAll that eververse and Sony $ isnt enough for these greedy 🤡… and they still neglect 80% of the game and come up with excuses
-
They explained how it would work.... Most if the events is free... Don't spend i know i won't
-
7 RepliesMicrotransactions, expansions, dlc (ala 20 year anniversary), season pass, dungeon PASS, EVENT PASS! Ye okay Bungo, consider how hard you milk your playerbase after your massive payday from Sony, don't blame me when I #doubt the -blam!- out of your pandering -blam!- "we care bout ppl ti-hi hi" tech blogs. You don't care any more bout ppl than -blam!- companies like Pepsi. It's all just lip service, as you find and develop new ways to milk your playerbase.
-
Wake tf up. That's been every single event from this money milking dev ever since Activision ditched them. Nothing new here. Just stop playing and stop giving them money constanty. FFS is that so hard to grasp for some of you?
-
1 ReplySo when does this event of the cost arrive? Is it solstice? I'm surprised this post hasn't been shut down for causing a disruption and temp bans like my posting of Destiny being dead, yet. Well, it might as well be the way Bungie nickels and dimes everyone. Anyway, I'm not spending money on this overgrind fest.
-
2 RepliesBungie can advertise their new emotes all they want. I’m still not gonna buy them.
-
15 RepliesLol, I'm getting closer and closer to dropping this game. Bungie keep putting more nails in.
-
Dollar dollar bill y’all
-
Hmm .. silver to upgrade .. well send me my MoT T-shirt and Seal I ordered last year and I'll think about it .. Bungie is worse than Ebay scammers !!
-
Nothing to see here... Seasonal events have been this way for years
-
2 RepliesIt's actually quite funny . The season was garbage for 10$ , essentially all we got was 6 low effort missions . Nothing else. They already charged separately for dungeons , now they want to charge for some activity cosmetics ? Yeah I'll pass . This game has been a mind numbing chore to play for a while and now that they ruined pvp this season with ae and healing I think I'll pass for a LONG while on anything destiny related.
-
2 RepliesI honestly found it funny how 90% of the info on the event the TWAB before it launches was about all the new ways you can spend money.

All Weeks At Players: Don't give them a dime.
-
Wow, the grind for these items needed are similar to Synthe cords and weaves ..
-
8 RepliesWhat drew my eye is the apparent number of mod slots on the armour and that is sweet as long as you are not parting with silver. Silver, leaves, silver ash, getting people comfortable referring to silver so they may possibly be more likely to spend....sorry my inner cynic got loose for a sec. ;) I still have the 1k silver awarded when we migrated from D1 but getting an enhanced Solstice ticket is not going to work. Earnable through play or bright dust then fine and anything else you can keep, Bungie.
-
The event card upgrade is optional. I just wonder if the instant unlock is exclusive, or if the content is also achievable with progression. Anyway, I don't purchase the upgrade. I'm not against Silver in general, Bungie has some impressive designs in Eververse, but the increase of microtransactions in this game, in relation with the Destiny Content Vault, is the wrong direction. There should be more Bright Dust and also items accessible with that currency. Destiny (2) is becoming more and more showcase.

1 ReplyCan I get the cool glows if I grind the event?? Or is it the white glows?
-
Topic be like
Most of us saved up a bit of bright dust my guy
-
ill pick up what i can with bright dust and everything is cosmetic so i dont really care.
-
1 ReplyYep. I’m really liking the hunter armor from the preview, but maybe it’ll look better in game somehow? Either way I’ll probably just save up my bright dust by not grabbing the eververse ornaments.
-
But does it have glows we get to buy and use for a couple weeks then ask for them in transmog for a couple year? Coz that’s what I’m about lmao
