Focused Gambit and IB engram cost is too high
The cost is absurd. Can we tone it down to like 25 leg shards. Really 100??

Yeah I recently went to drifter and saw some ridiculous prices. For older players that's not a problem. I can only imagine how inconvenient it must be for new players. When you are starting out 100 shards is a lot.

Trials as well, it’s not worth dumping 100 legendary shards on something that 9/10 you’d end up dismantling

It is. 100 shards and an engram, for a gun with 33'000 possible rolls. Should be like 10 shards as even if there was n cost it's impossible to get perfection

3 RepliesSo this brings up the question of why Bungie made IB/trials armor 4x the legendary cost compared to seasonal focusing (100 vs 25 legendary shards) and IB/trials weapons 2x the legendary cost compared to seasonal focusing (100 vs 50 legendary shards). Also Gambit armor focusing is a joke, it gives gear in the low 50 stat range - even though seasonal armor focusing needs seasonal materials the cost to focus is half the legendary shard cost and it provides high overall stats.

Few seasons ago it never cost anything but engrams and new currency we were getting. Then they made it like 50 shard, and few season later (basically now) they upped the focusing. Why? Simply to make us grind more. The funny thing is, new players and returning players are having a terrible time getting their shards unless they no life lol

It's even worse you spend all those materials and get a mediocre roll and can't even get half of your investment back on dismantle just the normal amount of shards
