Quick poll: upvote if you miss old iron banner
I miss the pinnacle bounties. It was my excuse to run each of my characters and stack up with friends for great iron banner nights. Now everyone hates rift and the loot is so trash. I really miss the old iron banner. Twice a season doesn’t make it more special; it just makes it less frequent.

Rift is an absolute crock of shite Contradicting everything a team based mode should be IB Control wasn’t perfect in the slightest But least it offered a more general way of completing matches, earning the +2 pinnacles The PvP team are clueless!

You do mean D1 IB RIGHT!?!?! But , yes even the pre-Haunted season IB! This whole change this season SUCKS! I normally only play, because I want to and not for bounties or quests, Mayhem and IB. And now just say no to IB!!! At least now we know the true meaning of season of the Haunted! It's IB thats Haunted not the Leviathan!

1 ReplyI miss old Iron Banner and by old I mean back in D1...it’s always been butts in D2 and there hasn’t been a nice looking set of armor. The whole samurai thing didn’t work and neither do the barnacles.

2 RepliesI like it because don't have to ib bounties. Revive time is little too long and if 3 or 4 teammates go down it's over. The matches are shorter though which is great. I like there's no kd tracking on because of the kd farmers.

Rift as a game mode is terrible for random matchmaking. It requires full team coordination to even begin to be engaging and fun. At least with control, you can individually move around the map where your team needs you and make a difference.

If I'm not engaged in the game, I'm not going to play. Dying and waiting 10 seconds to respawn and watch the enemy runner ignite my rift from the other side of the map does not make for a fun experience. Spawn me at my rift so i can at least attempt to stop the runner. Bungie removed k/d being shown, but still cares about spawn protection.
