Very against. They hated going up against people as good as them. The elite minority screamed so loudly, Bungie changed it to cbmm just to quiet them. Either that or Bungie just caters to the elite.

  • Well I consider myself an above average and maybe even sweaty player and I’m for SBMM. Because there still are a -blam!- ton of people who are way better than me and capable of rolling me, making the games not fun. Hence why I also want SBMM. Tbh, I haven’t actually heard any sweaty players say they’re against sbmm, it almost seems like a made up myth at this point, almost just to hate on sweaty players

They're pretty much all very vocal against SBMM and pro CBMM or are occasionally tactfully silent knowing how self-interested and contentious it is. Cammycakes vocal against SBMM - has posted pros and cons before heavily siding with CBMM. Coolguy - his friend - consistently supports CBMM - with a caveat he'd like to see extreme outlier protection, which makes no difference to almost everyone. Panduh came on here to tip out his diaper, against SBMM. Mtashed threatened to leave if they didn't remove SBMM - they did, he left anyway. Aztecross consistently has made anti-SBMM statements despite trying to be tactfully on the fence. And so it goes on. Essentially, they all want to queue jump as fast as possible, at the expense of others, regardless (and we suspect preferably) if they're pitted against those leagues beneath them. 'We Rans' still get their big views, and they all want to be seen to dominate, or have 'relaxed' games or to meme out knowing this comes at the expense of others they shouldn't be put with. They were all very vocal, coordinated - many are close friends - and you can suspect this was a major factor in Bungie removing it from all but one mode in the game - Elim/survival.

  • You've got tunnel vision then, because they were all over here.
