I really hope this dungeon is great. Because everything so far, aint it.
Edit: Sunbracer build is NOT new, been able to do it for years, and literally no one did, its just the only thing worth doing now. smh.

132 RepliesI love these posts. You guys think that it's trendy to continually bring up the fact that you're playing Destiny and doing Destiny things in Destiny. I love how you act like it's your first day when you probably been here for years and here you are complaining about doing the same things over and over. It's cyclical. It's also very unoriginal and very tiresome to see the same rhetoric on day one after [u]every[/u] [u]single[/u] [u]release[/u] Go play a different game if this does not cater to your wants and needs. No, it's not going to be the game you wanted to be. It's going to be the game bungee wants it to be. Take your stuff, pack up and leave if you don't like the game.

3 RepliesWhen the majority will run in a circle and farm for the same guns we've had and praise a public event in an area that's from a past paid for area they will keep churning this poor content out! The dungeon is a separate purchase too so that's not a part of any " new " season shite, so a 10 minute cutscene weekly ( 5 weeks probably), a handful of weapons and a few upgrade materials is what this season is if you paid lol, gotta be the best season content yet 🥴🥴🤣

2 RepliesThis season is awesome! Some of the old guns are turning but with new perks and they’re really really doing good. The graphics are awesome the sound is awesome everything is going great. Excellent storyline learning more about Crow lotta great things a lot of really really good things happening.

Warlock 3.0 is forced to aerial/toptree playstyle and robbed two other playstyles more or less. top tree aka aerial aka pvp should be one fragment not two. phoenix should be swappable with icarus not with rift. 2. Everyone can heal now which devalues healer warlock and squeezing your grenade for blessings is gone which was a very nice mechanic and gave versatility and not only that it was also nice to fly a bit longer or fly higher to reach stuff you wouldn't reach otherwise. But especially the squeezing was nice, since you could act depending on situations, blessing or damge, you decide mid combat. Now you have to into menu and change grenade, stupid change. 3. Vanguard doesn't really feel competent anymore. They lost focus and get driven by emotions way too often, especially crow. Everything else is tolerable or nice. The even is nothing special but it's kinda nice that it's like a public event in a public area and actually with rewarding loot unlike every other public event in destiny. Of course it's not very creative, but it's okay to me.

My level of disappointment is something I can't even put into words. That new pvp map is so terrible I can't even begin to explain. Solar changes are very underwhelming. The air horn effectiveness changes make guns feel really really bad in pvp as in ghost bullets bad. What are we doing here Bungie? I thought we learned that a seasonal event should never be a public event from past mistakes. I don't understand.

I don't have much video games. I have nothing to compare with Destiny 2, like it's model as Games as a service, with content and costs. The only other game I know, which goes in that direction is The Division. But from my point of view it's "innocent", because Massive Entertainment never worked excessive with recycling, removal and monetizations. Can someone give me one or more examples? Thank you.

1 ReplyDestiny at least to me is combat loop is pretty solid Other wise when something improves everything else takes a back seat. Want a better story get less over all content. Want more content, we'll the quality of that content takes a hit. Want more over all quality content well the story suffers a bit and the amount of content suffers. But that's live service games. Destiny and bungie is at least a stand out among live service but the fact that's it's taken 2 live service games and several years to get to this point of improvements is rough especially when looking at the insane price point both cost of being up to date, the over priced items in the store that cost basically the same price as a season pass or dungeon for a skin, emote and ship individualy to get. Every destiny player is basically has spent to much money to justify not playing anymore and consciously or unconsciously goes well I've already invested this much time and money might as well finish the ride.

4 RepliesOf course, they will not tell you. But halfly beacuse they do not know what they are going to release until the last day. It is what happened in D1Y1 and has been continuing to this day. Their concern is not retaining their customer but recycling them, which is one of the reasons they went F2P. Easier to make it look like there is high player count when no stats telling which one are the paying customers after all, Destiny is far from actual F2P games. It is also why they keep the game without hints on quests or mechanics in then game, so people will feel the need for youtubers and streamers. The point is always to make you grind more and engage more. Bungie chooses the cheapest methods of doing this. Time gating content, level gating content, providing minimal, vague and misleading information, creating roadblock systems instead of ones that encourage the play. They also rely on their fanboy army to defend them with no logic behind what they say.. So, it is not surprising, but more so expected.

1 ReplyI’m loving the stuff to do. First time we’ve gotten a new patrol destination in a season. The vibe’s probably not for everyone but I definitely like it. The public event needs a little more variety in the mini bosses and enemy formations. Seasonal story feels 10x better than Shadowkeep. My one complaint is that Solar 3.0 shipped feeling really clunky and unfinished especially on warlock. A few changes and some QoL improvements would go a long way.

Pretty meh to me as well. So far the cosmetics are the best part. Solar armor, skull armor, and the dungeon/haunted weapons look great. The activities you have to run to obtain them, not so much. They said “they knocked it out of the park” with this season. I don’t think they know what that expression means. Hopefully the dungeon is good. Pvp still feels the same. Still never have a problem getting special ammo. One new map can’t fix years of neglect. Might just be time to hop back on Elden Ring.

3 RepliesBasically speaking it’s another season to get to pinnacle power and repeat the same eliminate x targets for y checkpoint. Positivity it’s at least another season to grind out the season pass for what I have to say is the most bad -blam!- armor in the game. It’s been too long since they’ve brought back something worth slapping on other then high end content gear. Other than that I at least respect that they brought back beloved and Austringer for PvP purposes. But hell, this season is lacking any ambition and innovation.

11 RepliesHype is a powerful sales tactic. Sadly, it works all too well on so many fools. Bungo pretty much screws you over if you don't buy the whole year, and usually, one season is such a repackaging that it grinds a lot of gears. I can only assume this is done to give them time to develop the other seasons, somewhat, and still have some offering, albeit nearly worthless, to show for the money they've taken from us. I admit that I like the nostalgia of seeing the leviathan again, but to see it corrupted and shoehorned into the seasonal public event is leaving me feeling hollow. I can only hope that at least we get to finally see calus in the flesh this season, or blow up the leviathan; anything that will add some kind of substance. I must say I am completely fed up with crow as a character. Imo, hes utterly detestable, and makes me cringe whenever he shows up in a scene. To be bound to him as part of the new blue man group was off-putting.
